Good Soundbar for Bedroom
After mounting TV, the sound from the TV speakers seemed underpowered. This sound bar did the trick. Sound quality is good. Connectivity is good, Bluetooth, hdmi, and optical options included required wires.Wallmount installation was simple. It came with a foolproof paper cutout you tape to the wall, use a level, make your marks, and drill holes. Slides right in to slots that are screwed to the wall. It is not heavy and does not need to be drilled into studs. Of course you could just set it down instead, as it has rubber "feet" on the bottom.I currently have it connected via Bluetooth. I wish there was a way my Hisense TV remote would power on the TV and soundbar at the same time. Right now I have to turn each device on with their individual remotes, then use the TV remote to adjust sound. If I use HDMI the TV remote will *sometimes* turn on both, but I have to go into the TV settings and enable the soundbar hdmi output each time I turn on the TV.Works, nonetheless, for a bedroom. Doesn't shake walls or anything. This provides much better sound than a TV alone. I would recommend something more powerful for a living room entertainment system. Value for money is definitely good. Doesn't seem cheap.

Great sound, low price
Much better sound than my tv output. My other sound bar is starting to crackle and sound quality is fading. This sound bar is already better than my Samsung sound bar ever was and that cost me twice the amount of money. This is a great price for good audio. I use it in the Hdmi/Arc port and it works perfectly with my tv and other devices without me having to use the sound bar remote.

Using w/ EARC in a small office. Learn how the autoshut off feature works .
This came "free" bundled with my second Hisense U6HF TV. It's not such a smooth operator with the EARC if you have other HDMI inputs added to your TV.** The unit has an automatic shut off (some form of energy saving) that will turn the unit off in 15 minutes . Many reviewers complained about this and returned the unit. Two things 1) It will also turn your HISENSE TV off at the same time 2) There is a fix, actually written in the manual though in fine print. You need to have the audio source (computer, play station) playing audio loudly. Remember the sound bar is the actual output source but if I had Youtube playing very low on the computer--the sound bar can't "register" or "hear" the sound, but with the computer audio all the way up and Youtube all the way up, the shut off won't occur. The sound bar can be set to low so you won't get some booming loud sound, just what ever you choose via the sound bar.If the computer is not playing audio and I'm using my Hisense as a monitor--it (the sound bar --and TV) will shut off and I have to wiggle the mouse to reengage the monitor. You can play music at your computer but turn the sound bar volume down , and it won't shut off your important work for the day. This is all using the bar, as designed, as an EARC unit. Bad form on Hisense for not having a do not sleep , do not turn off setting.Oddly when I'm using the computer via HDMI, if I shut the sound bar off, the audio will come through the TV speakers even though in settings I've turned the TV audio off. It must only be a feature that works using the TV as a TV but not applicable for the inputs. When I shut the soundbar off and am using the Fire TV as a TV, the TV audio won't come on so once you put the sound bar on, it's God or Goddess.I wired the sound bar via EARC to the TV. I also have a computer running into the same TV via HDMI 2.0. Got good audio relative to the size. For the $50 it's currently listing at, I'd say grab one. It'll be fine for a small office, guest room, dorm. So the computer audio works too, as would gaming devices or anything else roped through the EARC TV w/ HDMI inputs. If you want to fiddle with the sound, you go to your TV audio settings if it's TV generated sound. Computer sound for computer tweaking. I turned the bass up a bit to make it sound less flat.I read somewhere that the TV (Hisense U6H) had comparable sound to the sound bar. I got curious and did do an A/B comparison and yes --they do sound similar, TV produces similar sound to the sound bar at differing volumes---that said when the volume is raised, the sound bar can play louder than the TV and to my ears sounds slightly better.

Affordable, Decent Quality Sound-bar
At such an affordable price, I wasn’t expecting much from this sound bar, but am happy to report that I am pleasantly surprised. Is it the highest quality of sound - absolutely not. However, the sound is decent for the price and good enough to fill a large room nicely.Setup was easy, simply unbox, and connect to your TV using the included HDMI cable, and your TV should pick it up right away. No issues experienced with connection and/or interruption during use. It’s a simple design too and has hanging holes on the back. Once hanged, it’s pretty small and doesn’t stand out much.

Unimpressive sound...
I figured it would be simple to connect a Hisense soundbar to a 1 year old Hisense 50" Android TV... Read the instructions used the supplied HDMI cable - connected it to the HDMI ARC input on the TV, selected the ARC sound input on the TV's Sound settings... (per instructions), NOTHING... no sound. Next I tried connecting via Bluetooth... The speaker paired with the TV, I selected the Bluetooth input on the Hisense TV, ...NOTHING. no sound.I've spent over an hour going over every setting on the TV... Nothing I've tried has worked. I cannot get the Hisense TV to output sound to the Hisense soundbar!!!Ridiculously frustrating.I *was* able to sync the soundbar to my Samsung S10 smartphone via Bluetooth, and it sounded great...Update: the key to getting this soundbar to work with a Hisense smart TV, is the "Digital Output" setting... It *must* be set to "PCM"... (the default setting is "Auto"), any other setting will result in silence...Once connected, the sound still wasn't much better than the TV's internal speakers... at lower volume, it drops off far more quickly than the internal speakers (below a volume setting of "40" it's almost inaudible, using the internal speakers it is louder)... It does get a little louder overall at top volume, but, I was expecting a bit more punch and volume.I've decided to keep it it, but will continue to look for a better option...
