The Zip is purposefully manufactured to be upside down as a safety precaution so that young children cannot access the filling inside. You can feel the head of the zip through the fabric, so you are able to unzip it. It can be a little bit tricky at first. Q: Is it normal it just comes open in the bottom of a box? As in no packaging, just the pillow in the bottom of the box, looks used too

Mine came with other items but was loose in the box .. the cotton is organic so is a dull cream colour, not used.
