Little Blue Truck Board book – 3 March 2016

My 1.5 year old loves this book! The art is great and story has a wonderful moral to it. I’m so thankful to have stumbled upon it!

I have been reading this book for my daughter since she was 2 weeks old (Yes!!, 2 weeks old ;)) and now at 2.3 years, she still LOVES IT!!!! I always got a giggle out of her as baby when I made OINK OINK 🐷 piggy sounds and now she can actually tell the entire story!!! It's fun to read as a parent with all the sound effects we get to make n It's awesome fun for the children to hear it as well. Plus, I think it teaches kids about animals n the sounds they make (they pick it up n learn to associate automatically) we don't have to teach them mechanically- Hey kid! time to learn animals n their sounds, ala the way I was thaught as a kindergarten!I fully recommend this book for your child!Also, I would like to add that I received the product before the expected delivery date and it was in excellent condition!

I first got this book for my son when he was about 15 months old and he did not have the patience for me to read through so many sentences of the book.My son turned out to be a big fan of vehicles and I decided to try this book again when he was about 30 months old. This time the book instantly hit a cord with him. His eyes shine up the moment I turn the page and dump truck appears and he shouts histerically 'HONK'. He loves how the BIG dump truck comes through and has big important things to do. My son and me speak each sentence with heavy voice to give that air of importance to the dump truck.Then when the important truck gets stuck, my toddler says 'Oh Oh, the truck is stuck- what can we do now'. He loves how LITTLE blue truck comes to help the BIG dump truck and how everybody hears little blue's BEEP BEEP BEEP. He loves repeating 'A lot depends on a helping hand from a few good friends'.In fact in these two months, he had made me read the book zillions of times and now he knows each sentence by heart. So many times, I have seen him reciting the entire book to himself like a poem and jumping with euphoria. Even when we go for a walk he pretends to be dump truck that gets stuck in every tiny puddle of the road and I become little blue truck who has to push with all its might.

Beautiful book. My 7 month old is enjoying it thoroughly! Sturdy board book format, lovely rhyming text, and beautiful illustrations. The message in the book is great too. Buy as a great addition for your baby's collection!

All in one package to capture a one year old's and a three year old's attention

The story and pictures are great. A fun way to review farm animals with your child. I like that the illustrator has chosen the fall season for the images. It reminds me of home and has given me a chance to teach my toddler about fall, a season we don't experience in India, with all the beautiful leaves and colours. The binding is also of good quality-- better than some of the other board books I've purchased recently.

Simple and effective way to learn lesson. Very good book for toddlers and even for older kids, beautiful illustrations.
