Nice bit of kit and well worth the money. Low profile and super easy to install. Comes with a long lead to reach the ARGB 5 volt 3 pin header on your motherboard.You only need one of these if you have multiple 3 PIN RGB lights and not enough headers (connections) on your motherboard and this will not power your fans or devices, this is just to connect the lights to your motherboard.Plug the long ARGB wire into the 3 pin 5 volt ARGB header (also known as digital RGB) on your motherboard.Run this cable to the back of your PC case and attach to any of the headers on the device.Stick the device to an available space on the back of the case, I used my power supply.Attach a SATA cable from your power supply into the device.Add your ARGB 3 pin 5 volt lighting devices (fans, led strips, coolers) to the other headers on the device.RGB devices can then be controlled by your motherboards relevant RGB software, I have an Asus motherboard and used Aura sync. Please note that if you're connecting multiple lights to this device your motherboard will read them as one device so lights cannot be changed independently.Not compatible with most Corsair products, for Corsair products you will need to use their version of this (lighting node Pro, lighting node core)

Does exectly what it should works perfect

Well that is hours of my life I can never get back... spent so long trying to get this dam thing to work, people in the questions saying to plug the sata power port on the hub directly to the mother board which makes no sense as the power port on the hub is the same connector you use to power a hard drive so I plugged in the same as you would to a hard drive from my power supply and my fans and nothing, had one of the 3 pin connectors connected to my gen 2 addressable rgb 5v header on my motherboard without the power sata plugged in as in the description stated that the extra power is "optional" and absolutely no result, I also tried having the 3 pin connected to the mother board and the sata power plugged in and still no result, I see lots of good reviews saying that it worked perfectly for people so I dont know whats happening with mine, maybe faulty or I just don't have this mystery connector on my mother board that I can connect a sata power port directly to.

Although this product works very well the ports are too close together. This means it is EXTREMELY difficult and fiddly to get two 5v connectors to connect to the hub when directly next to each other. You have to leave one port vacant in order to get your RGB lights to connect which essentially cancels out half the usable ports.There is no global standard for the dimensions of the 5v connector shielding which is what causes this issue with RGB hubs. Bear this in mind when purchasing because you may end up damaging a port in an effort to force a connector in.

Perfect! Amazing price and works like a charm. Just connected up my aura sync m/b to the no.1 slot and the rest of my ARGB devices plugged in with ease. I used a screw to fit it on my case to keep it neat.Did not have to use SATA power as it worked fine without. Not sure why it's there. There was another one like this with fan connections included but my m/b has enough fan connections on it as most do nowadays and save the cable management.
