A great tool
After a couple videos it was easy to learn to be able to teach. My daughter’s favorite was the division board. It was easy to turn into a fun game of customers coming into a shop to buy ice cream and splitting them amongst them. Within a month of every day use she fully grasps the concept of division and now does it in her head. These boards have aided in her confidence. They’re made of wood and solid. We haven’t lost a single bead but there’s been many close calls.I used this board for my daughter, 5, and to help my nephew 9, and niece 10 who were struggling with the visualization of multiplication and division. These boards helped them to see how it works.

Missing the red disk for the top left of board
Using this with my kindergartener to introduce multiplication. Unfortunately the red disk is missing. Montessori is a carefully prepared environment and the materials need to embody that.

Perfect material for 6+
Students that are ready for the challenge of multiplication and division absolutely love this. They are very careful with it as they know how special it is. Definitely recommend!

Great practice
Kids can use any method to get answer then use board to check their answers. Makes it more like a game so kids enjoy

Great for homeschooling
My daughter (3rd grade) has used both the multiplication and division boards since she was a first grader at her school. Since March 2019, classes have been only online in Mexico. This material has been useful for her to verify her operations at home and keep practicing, since she does not longer have access to her school's Montessori materials because of the lockdown. We have set up our own Montessori classroom at home with these boards that look and work just like the ones she shared with her classmates, as well as with other resources. The boards come with their own wooden box to organize the beads. We are pleased with the purchase.

Great visual math tool for dyslexic child
My dyslexic son has had a hard time learning his multiplication and division facts. When in Montessori school he had no issues with math because of the visual manipulatives supporting his learning. When I saw he was struggling I purchased these materials and voila, he's making quick progress. The price is great and the materials are great for home.

Waste of money! Better off counting on their fingers!
Literally, you fill in all the divots and then count them. How does that teach anything?
