First, as many reviewers state: Not an anti-Covid mask. Now for the real review:The material is soft and smooth, though not as silky smooth as the other “ice” fabric gaiter I own. If you hold it up to the light, you can see the mesh.Fit is good on my wife (tall, but average build) and a little snug on me (average guy, a little heavy), especially at the ears for me. I thought this would be a problem for me, however, the snugness helps keep it in place, and after a few minutes, I forget that I’m wearing it.Breathability is a perfect balance for outdoor work. Easy to breathe through your nose, and blocks probably 80% of the dust and pollen we would have otherwise inhaled. Again, after a few minutes I forget I’m wearing it. Yes, if you are breathing hard through your mouth you can suck the fabric in, but most lightweight fabrics will do this too. If you’re looking for something for heavy exercise, probably try an exercise specific mask (a whole lot more $$$).Durability appears to good. We have worn them 3 times, hand washed then 3 time with no sign of wear or tear yet. Fit has remained consistent.Overall, one of our best purchases for our intended use.

I like the fact that once you put it on, it’s easy to access. It fits around your neck like a bandanna. The loops slide on your ears for easy wear and removal. You don’t have to worry about taking it off the whole day.

These are extremely thin, but well made.

I wear these to work

I bought this gaiter specifically to use as a second layer over a disposable surgical mask after CDC guidelines recommended double masking. It works GREAT. The gaiter is snug, closing the side gaps of the disposable surgical mask and not so thick that it makes breathing difficult. It seems too thin to use as a single mask, but it is perfect as a second layer of protection.

I have a messy job and bought these so I wouldn't get stuff splashed on my face. The material is like a mesh so I don't have any faith they would protect my face and the masks are too small on my head to wear comfortably anyway.

These are my favorite type of mask, very soft and very breathable. Only slight disappointment was that the opening is slightly too large and fit very baggy around my face. I washed them and decided to dry them and they shrunk very slightly fitting much better.

I bought this to use as a lightweight balaclava. I really like that this is secure and breathable. My balaclava was causing a lot of fogging to happen inside of my motorcycle helmet. This mask is helpful to keep motorcyclists cool and protected from any bugs hitting you in the neck while also keeping you cooled while waiting for lights to change.
