Vibrant green color, taste is good enough to drink without anything added. It is true that it does not dissolve easily in hot or warm water, but that is a known characteristic of matcha. Matcha needs to be whisked into a small amount of water first (I find cool water works best), and then more water may be added (I like to add hot water). The video is helpful in this regard. To save time, I like to combine this particular product with a bit of barley malt or rice milk powder first and then I have no trouble at all dissolving it in warm water. Only downside for me is that it is not certified organic, but at least it is tested to rule out any contaminants and pesticides.

I only use this in a blender with almond milk every morning. I do not add sweetener, and I use unsweetened almond milk. I use 1/2-1 tsp. matcha powder. I don't like hot matcha lattes but I love this cold and the blender makes it frothy and it dissolves and blends perfectly. The tin lasts me a few months even with everyday use and I think it is worth the price.

The price is ok, because is fantastic quality. But it does not completely dissolve even in hot water.

I have tried dozens of matcha teas, and this is definitely the best. In this time of Covid, I want to be drinking green tea every day to boost my health and immunity, but I used to struggle, because I am not really a fan. This one converted me. Taste is smooth and not too aggressive. I researched the company and it is super ethical, a genuine small business that turns out the highest quality of products. I am temporarily living in Mexico, and I go to a lot of trouble to make sure I get my supplies of this excellent matcha all the way to me here.

First canister was excellent. Subsequent canisters have disappointed. Not vibrant green like the first (more yellowish brown hued and lattes look gray). It’s sealed like a soda can as opposed to a sealed bag within a canister. Moisture is definitely getting in because it’s balled up in the can instead of loose powder. It’s great that they test for icky stuff but what good is that if mold is encouraged to grow in a moist environment post packaging? Will not by again.

Hi - I bought this product based on the review comments and thought for such an expensive price ($30 for a small tin), that it would be good. Severely disappointed. The tea does NOT dissolve in hot water, hot milk, nothing. So you end up biting chunks of bitter green tea balls or tossing out the cup and wasting away the product. Do not buy, a disaster.

This matcha has a smooth grassy flavor and lovely bright green hue. it definitely DOES NOT CLUMP if you prepare it properly. A little ginger and turmeric spices it up nicely...

not the best, but you pay for what you get. generally happy - but will not purchase again.
