SmartSign "Right Arrow" MUTCD One Direction Sign | 12" x 24" 3M Engineer Grade Reflective Aluminum

I had reservations when I first opened the package as the SmartSign arrow sign didn’t look like it was going to be as reflective as advertised. I haven’t yet mounted it as of this writing but still tested it for reflectivity under nighttime conditions. I’m happy to report it was, indeed, quite reflective. I understood it was only “engineer grade” as advertised, but it was every bit as reflective as any bright yellow road sign used by any DOT. My application for it will mix in a smaller diamond-grade sign along with diamond-grade tape, so I’m pretty sure that the SmartSign arrow sign will alert oncoming motorists.At $24.49 and with 12” by 24” dimensions, it was reasonably and competitively priced against any other available offerings. It’s advertised as a “right arrow” but can easily be flipped so the user/buyer can have a left-pointing arrow. or whichever direction you wish that would accommodate the 24" width. The only real alternative might be the usual “chevron” arrow sign, and while it’s listed as “high-intensity,” it’s also higher priced and slightly smaller at 12’ by 18.” If your application will fit with the 24" width, then SmartSign arrow offering is the best deal you’re gonna get.

We wanted a sign to put on our new fence along a curved county road. Our commissioner won’t spend money for curve signs so we used these to call attention to the curves. Very visible and meet our needs well.
