Great value for the money!
Pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. What I received must be an updated version with electronic switches, a separate argon inlet from the compressed air inlet and standard 6-50p (standard 220 welder plug) complete with 110 adapter plug. All of these things are items folks complained about in videos I have seen when deciding to purchase the primeweld unit, so it would appear that primeweld listens to the feedback. The AG60P plasma torch has a swivel ball on the cables/air hose to make it handle better. The switch is comfortable to use. The SMAW electrode holder is adequate and works well. I haven’t had a chance to get an argon bottle or tungsten to try the tig torch yet. Setup is easy and everything plugs in easily. The pilot arc plasma cutter is awesome and I have tried it on a scrap that was very rusty and paint covered. I only cleaned enough for the grounding clamp and it cut fantastically. I have cut 1/2” stick with it as well as thinner material. I even cut a brake rotor in two cleanly. I am still getting used to the settings but it cuts clean with only a little dross. With the SMAW setup I have run several beads on dcen and dcep both. The 6011 electrodes ran well once I could strike the arc. A lot of the issues are the fact I have only run mig and FCAW the last 10 years and have learned some bad habits. Like many others have said, the ground clamp is serviceable but I will likely replace it with a better ground clamp (only about $15 for a great one from HF). The leads are nice length and give plenty of room for movement. One really nice part is that you can leave the SMAW and plasma hooked up and switch back and forth. My old craftsman 20 gallon air compressor had little issue keeping up. If you are looking for a value three process unit, this one won’t disappoint. I am really glad this is the unit I selected and would buy it again.

AWESOME machine for the money!
Awesome machine for the money! I literally decided on this machine ONLY because of all the great reviews on their awesome customer service. Companies that truly take care of their customers are extremely rare, yet this one does. Bought it mostly for the plasma cutter function, and it works amazing on everything I cut up to 1/8” plate steel. Haven’t gotten to try it on anything much thicker yet, but I imagine it would do fine if you were on 220v, as I cut that running on 110v household power and it blew through it pretty dang easy. Also had some heavy gauge sheet metal, and it cuts through that nearly as fast as you can draw the line! And that’s on only 20A and 30psi. Then, I went and picked up an Argon tank and flowmeter to give the TIG a try, and my lord was I surprised. I haven’t really TIG welded in nearly 20 years, but this thing made it so easy to start laying beads. I was almost certain it was gonna run like a dog, but it proved me wrong and had an extremely consistent arc and ran smooth as butter. And this was my first bead in 20 years using some rusty angle iron I hit real quick with a grinder. And I’m not an expert Tig welder, I just played around with it years ago. Do yourself a favor, and purchase the pedal if you intend on using the Tig much. It will make your life so much better. I also went ahead and purchased the $30 kit of plasma consumables, cause it only comes with one spare set, and you’ll wish you had more when the time comes to swap them out. Came with a built in PSI gauge, a regulator/drier unit that mounts to the rear (some basic assembly required), arc stinger, ground cable, #17 Tig collet-body torch with several cups and collets, plasma torch, a 110v power adapter, vinyl tubing and fittings to hook up regulator/drier, and even about a 6’ hose with gas fittings to connect an Argon tank to the machine. For the amazing price of just $500.... you’re basically robbing this company. Haha. All-in-all, I’m extremely happy with this purchase!

Great value & customer support
In only a few weeks of use this unit has proven to be a good value. Plasma cutter is a blast. TIG is a little challenging since the foot pedal is back ordered. Stick welding with E6013 DCEN has worked well in practice. I have not tried DCEP or E6010 yet. This seems to be a great value for the home shop and lots of fun for perfecting skills.2019-06-13 I received the foot pedal the other day which is making it easier to TIG weld. Great HF starting with little to no current (~10A or 10% to 15% of pedal current setting). Customer service is great. I did a little E6010 using DCEP with only marginal results because the steel was a little rusty (hand brushing only) and I was just looking to tack together a wind screen for some stainless steel TIG welding. The TIG torch head seems to be a little misaligned since the tungsten does not appear to stick out centered in the nozzle with a variety of collet body type/configuration. I will upgrade the torch head if this continues to bug me. The hose/cable seem to be okay and with the pedal I no longer need a torch head with a switch.
