I bought this because I live in central NY and it can get a bit cold. I have to walk 20 minutes from my car where my car is parked to my place of work, then back usually at night.I'll start by saying this hood is soooo soft. My ears and face are warm, and protected from. The wind. It fits over my head with ease because it's stretchy. It's light and functions as it's inted to. I am happy and warm!

I purchased this for an overnight hike and camping trip with REI, the weather was anticipated to be cooler overnight, and although I wasn't able to utilize this specific product for the overnight, when I did try it on, I thought the fit was perfect for me, and it kept me nice and warm. Unfortunately, I can't speak to how it ventilates and wick's moisture when engaging in activity. Overall, material quality proves to be adequate, with good washability, and facial and head coverage to keep you warm.I look forward to using this when we go snowboarding or cross-country skiing, this is a nice addition to any winter sport enthusiast that likes to be outside even below freezing temperatures!

Bought this for my wife she absolutely loves it. It’s warm, light and blocks the wind.

I live in the mouth of a canyon where we get frequent winds in the morning and evening. I have dogs that have to be walked a couple of times a day, so I needed something to wear when I'm out with them. I saw an item similar to this and bought a few different ones to try. I ordered some that were softer and more furry-looking, but the wind went right through those! So far with this fleece version, the wind has not come through the material. I have worn it in temps as cold as 20 degrees fahrenheit so far and my head has stayed toasty warm. I usually wear it with glasses, so I don't use the face covering portion any higher up than my mouth so that my glasses do not fog up. This is by far the best cold-weather item I have purchased this year!

I love it. It fits perfect For me I have lots of hair. It is exactly what I was looking for. Good quality and warm in the 20 to 30 degree weather. I bought it to wear when I walk every day

I bought this with the intent to use it for winter hiking/photography. Its very thick and warm and would be great for a quick throw on item for cold weather.While trying to incorporate it into my gear, I noted several things:-one of the drawstrings was not attached, and pretty pulled out of the hood. I just removed the rest of them.- While the neck gaiter is huge, the hood itself is tiny. There is no way you could wear a beanie and this at the same time. The neck portion of it is also kind of bulky and you cant tuck the material in well because they do not include a taper for the chin.-Its HEAVY fleece- not usable for hiking or exertion because it does not ventilate enough. Unless you are dealing with extreme cold or run cold physically, this will be too thick.-This would likely be well suited for skiing or snowboarding, since the hood is small and wont be caught in the wind as easily.-Id recommend to the manufacturer- sew the neck portion to accommodate for tucking under the chin, and making it fit to the face better, and increase the hood just a little bit, so that you can wear a beanie or have thick/long hair under it.

Thicker fleece than expected. Warm, and adjustable. Nice.
