ManfrottoPIXI Xtreme Mini Tripod Kit with Head for GoPro Cameras (MKPIXIEX-BK), Manfrotto Black with GoPro Adapter

We purchased Manfrotto MKPIXIES-BK Pixi Extreme to use for our Nikon D3200 when traveling, but now we use it all of the time, both as a tripod and a grip. It is lightweight, sturdy, easy to use, and simply good at doing its job. Just be careful that you push the release button in before you rotate the position of the camera, as I have a tendency not to do this, which can damage the rotating mechanism. Even with my bad habit, however, the mechanism is still working well. Highly recommend this product.

I’m really impressed by the flexibility of this product. I bought it to use with my GoPro and it works perfectly! It’s lightweight but extremely solid! Great to use as a selfie stick but also setup as a tripod. It’s definitely a must have.

I recommend, if you are going to use this tripod with a go pro, and your filming high quality streaming media, to use an external mic, because I can hear my hands rubbing against the tripod on all of my videos ( using the go pro mic )

The screw on the ball head is not properly aligned when I received mine. The overall body and leg support is great, feels durable. Not splash proof though and I see early signs of stain after a couple of use on salt water.

I purchased the extreme edition to mount my GoPro Hero 5 Black on top of. There is a major issue though, the GoPro mount that was included with the tripod is clearly not made for the mounting frame that the GPH5 comes with, it is too narrow, and the nut at the end bottoms out at a shallow depth which makes the first party tightening pins completely unusable with this mount. Unfortunately, a compatible tightening pin is not included. It is impossible to secure the go pro to the included adapter, therefore, his product does not work with the GoPro Hero 5 Black, and it might not work with any of the previous ones either. I don't think anything has changed with the mount between the two most recent iterations of the GoPro, and all of my other accessories work with the GPH5 as well.I ended up having to buy the first party "Tripod Kit", which came with a small tripod, a mount for larger tripods, and a mount that is almost identical to the one included with the Pixi Extreme. The first party one is wider, and therefore works with the GP tigtening pins. I could have saved myself five bucks and just bought the standard Pixi, since I had to go buy a different adapter anyway.The tripod itself is really nice though, I haven't a single complaint about it. It's an amazing accessory to have for a GoPro, I can carry it around like a handlebar, use it like a selfie stick, and it makes for a great tripod. This tripod will basically live on my GoPro full time.

If you're looking for a small yet VERY versatile tripod useful for both GoPro and a good sized DSLR buy this. I had my Rebel 3 on here with ZERO tipping-over issues. This lil guy is really quite sturdy.

I have used this for both our Disney Cruise and the Disney World with the GoPro and clip for the iPhone. It's very sturdy and light weight. I have this in my backpack always. This is a great investment.

Awesome accesory for dji osmo action. Used it to vlog our family disney trip. Great tripod for character breakfast and even took it in pool . love the 360 adjustable head to get the perfect angle.
