I am absolutely delighted with this leather portfolio! The satisfaction with my purchase began as I took it out of the box in it's protective "sack". A great touch! Removing the portfolio from it's protection, I was impressed with the high quality. The leather is soft to the touch. The stitching is very well done by someone skilled at their craft. The pocket arrangements on the left side are handy and useful. Even the expanding gusset where the writing pad is inserted opens to accept most any size pad that is just one example of the craftmanship of the portfolio. Now having used it on my job for a week I can honestly say I am thrilled with my purchase. A great price on a great item. NOTE: I am a consumer and not connected with the seller in anyway. This is an honest appraisal of the item.

As anticipated based on reviews, the portfolio is very attractive and well-made. The leather appears to be good quality, a little rustic for my taste (not surprising given the brand name), but I expect it will age well provide lots of good service. The pen holder is a fine size for my preferred pen (Pentel RSVP, on the wider side) - I only mention this because another reviewer found it too narrow for standard use. There is a credit card holder with transparent window - this would be perfect for a business card except it is a little too tall to frame a card, that the window isn't very clear. This is my only complaint, and it is minor. This is a great product and I'm very pleased with it.

We have purchased two of these. I originally bought one for someone else, but loved it once it was received. I waited to see how functional it was with the other user, then ordered myself one. It is very sturdy and I use it daily. It is not slim, kind of bulky but I contribute that to craftsmanship in some regard. I did take the time to put leather conditioner on it when I first got it. It is very nice leather, but needs a little protection especially with continual/daily use. In reference to someone else mentioning the smell, it does have a little smell, but considering materials and construction that is to be expected. In addition, after conditioner applied the smell disappeared. Go for it, you won’t be disappointed.

Was looking for a high quality portfolio for my legal notepad. I like to feel good when taking notes. This product seemed to be the best out there. I have the dark brown one. The photo is a little over-exposed, so I'd say the darker corner in the shadows is a truer representation of the color.When I first opened it, the aroma was amazing. A nice leather smell. Yes, this is genuine buffalo leather. There are other "leather" products (PU leather) that are so processed, they seem closer to vinyl. I know, because I bought one here, and it was terrible. One interesting side note, the black portfolio says it is made with goat leather. You can see it is much more grainy, if that's what you like.Anyway, the feel is exquisite, a sort of matte finish. Not a slippery glossy leather, and not a rough textured suede. I love it. Highly recommended if you like the feel of a quality leather product.

It looks as nice or nicer than pictured, and comes in its own canvas drawstring bag, sealed in plastic. Regular legal pads fit just fine and the pockets look good. The ONE thing is... if you expect it to have that nice 'new leather smell'... this doesn't have it. It smells vaguely like gasoline or paint. Don't get me wrong, it is not strong, I only smell it if I put my nose right up to it. I'd buy it again on sale, or try other stuff from this manufacturer based on quality.

I looked long and hard for the right padfolio. This is a very well made with good quality leather. The rustic look helps this item to go well with a suit for formal meetings or more casual meetings. In a different field of business. The pockets are goo for light document storage and the business card holder is a nice touch. My only suggestion would be to make the business card holder a little smaller so that it frames out your business card completely. I have standard size business cards and there are gaps around the edges. Not a huge deal though. I would definitely purchase it again and recommend it for anyone looking for a nice executive padfolio. I am happy with my purchase.

I killed a timber rattlesnake on my land a month ago. I've been needing a new padfolio for a while now and decided this would be the perfect way to use the skin. The one that I purchased is like chocolate brown sueded type leather. It came with a nice cloth bag to keep it in if you so choose. The stitching and overall product are great. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a quality padfolio at a very reasonable price.
