When I first opened the outer package I was greeted by a strong chemical smell. But that dissipated quickly, and the individual pouches for a variety of really pretty small feathers did not smell. I put them all in a Ziploc bag and have not noticed any more smell. The feathers themselves range from very small to about 3" tops, and that is exactly what I had wanted. I like that they are natural and not died with gory colors.

The media could not be loaded. Needed to add some additional feathers to my 35 year old Shady Brady. These were perfect. Loved the variety of small to large and the colors were vibrant. Great quality very happy with this purchase.

The media could not be loaded. This are beautiful and are very filled but I was hoping for them to be bigger but oh well, they do have a very strong death smell to them from the fact pieces of the animal are still on it

These feathers worked perfectly for my son’s Native American school project. There was a good variety, small and large. You get a lot of each for the price.

Used on my craft project

First off, these are excellent feathers with a good variety of colors. For me, however, they were too small for me to make any use of them. I am guessing that if I had a project or DYI that needed really tiny shafts, these would be perfect. By the time I trimmed them the feather was practically useless. Not that they were useless overall, just useless for me. I will find other uses for them, but for now I will continue to search for the type feathers I need. I will think about purchasing again, only if I can find a legit reason to use them.

I love the colors and quality of these feathers. They work perfectly in my jewelry.
