DEWALT DCMBL562N-XJ 18V XR Brushless Blower without Batteries

I have always bought DeWalt and had been eyeing this with a while so pulled the trigger and got it. It is a time saver and does what I need it to do.

It would have been nice to add in the battery with the blower as a complete unit..Luckily enough I have DeWalt batteries but others would have to buy a separate itemBlower is lightweight and excellent power..Good value product and happy overall with purchase

This is a Dewalt product, of which we have a number of different pieces.As it was a gift for my husband, I asked for it to be re-boxed. It was.We had a smaller, light-weight Dewalt blower, but unfortunately it kept failing even though we were using genuine Dewalt batteries.This blower is more solid and chunky looking and does indeed have a more powerful motor, with a decibel level to go with it.The blower has an attachment which focuses the air to a direct area, but my goodness, it is powerful.Very happy with this machine and can’t wait for the leaves to fall in the Autumn!

Excellent blower. I have combined this with a flex volt battery. I would like a little more power still.

I specifically wanted this model because it was very quiet and had a low Decibel (DB rating) and most of the similar models have a much higher DB rating and can be very noisyWhen the box arrived, very promptly it has to be said, and in good condition, all it said on the box was DEWALT DCMBL562N. Now while I'm a building surveyor and pay real attention to the detail, I would still state that unless you have an encyclopaedic knowledge of the DeWalt range, you are highly unlikely to know the difference between one particular model and the other.I was concerned enough about this potential difference to try and get through to the UK DeWalt technical helpline. I logged on to the website, selected the chat bot feature and it told me that there were seven people in front of me so I set a timer but gave up after 38 minutes as it appeared to be a fruitless exercise.I finally got through to a lady on the technical help line and while I did struggle to hear exactly what she was saying, I eventually got my point across and asked what the difference between the two models was, only to be told that she didn't know and the best thing to do would be to send it back to the suppliers!So, if you are reading this DeWalt you need to get a grip of your labelling system or put something on the Internet which clearly explains the difference between various different sub models and models. Yes, I did some research on your website but there is absolutely no clarity as to why there are different suffix at the end of each model and no explanation as to whether you have the right model that you've ordered or not.To confuse matters even more I've attached a photo of the model that came within the box and on the body, it states 97 DB!While most of the explanatory symbols on the default label are self-explanatory the labelling on the box and the labelling generally is woefully lacking and confusing at best.I realise that some manufacturers use the suffix behind a model number to ensure exclusivity to a particular supplier, but this is not clear anywhere in the instructions on the leaf blower itself or on the packaging.

Great product, works a treat & worth every penny

I’ve only just started using this to clear the leaves from the garden, it has a good amount of blow to it on normal settings and goes mental on the high setting but for less time which is understandable. I don’t have a huge garden but it’s an awkward shape with different levels and one 5 ah battery was all that was needed. I can’t wait to clear some snow from my sloped and cobbled driveway in the winter, I think this be the dogs b’s !
