Great for making older in-ceiling speakers bluetooth capable
I wanted something that would tie in some older in-ceiling speakers to a newer smart tv. The BTA-250 certainly does the job. I was able to attach 2 speakers to the BTA-250 and convert them to bluetooth. My only issue was the power supply. It attaches (with a provided adapter) to the rear of the BTA-250 (which will be behind the drywall). I had to be creative when attaching the power supply so that the largest part of it was hidden from view. Otherwise, I am really pleased with the BTA-250.

Ok but there are better values
I like the overall quality of the unit and ease to install but the control of volume is poor. Not sure if it’s because of 8ohm versus 4ohm speakers and I guess I will never know because I’m not swapping out the speakers I have for this. The phone volume control works fine to adjust but I am concerned with sound quality because of the lack of units volume control. Seems a tad distorted. I had to change the EQ on the phone to make the sound quality better.I have bought a similar unit for $50 that actually sounds better than this unit on Amazon.
