Great for tattoos, ok for soap
In tattooing, we make a lot of trash. So it would be nice to change that and do the greener thing. I've tried other compost wrap that I loved, but the static cling on it was annoying and the carton/cutter just wasn't securing the roll. I was /thoroughly/ surprised at the difference in quality when I got this one. The box is heavy, the closure is magnetized, and the carton instructions were clear. The cutter is nice and sharp. As for the wrap, it's the best as far as compostable options ago. It's not as stretchy as regular plastic wrap. That's not on the manufacturers— the stretchy polymers just don't work the same way in PLA (corn/sugar plastic) however it's stretchy enough for my purposes.Precutting pieces for equipment have always been the bane of my existence. Usually, plastic wrap is either so clingy it balls up, never to return as normal OR (with compost wrap) it's not clingy enough so it dangles/unravels easily, defeating the purpose of a cling wrap. THIS is a goldilocks wrap. Clings enough, but decently unravels in you need to rewrap.Coincidentally, I also make soap. I usually wrap mine in another brand's compost parchment paper, because plastic wrap just doesn't look right to me. For testing purposes, I decided to test BlknWhite vs BonnieBio. BB would not cling to itself. BnW would cling to itself, so in this area, BnW wins. You can slap a label on it and bam, you have wrapped soap. However, Neither of them perform great when heatsealing. Even with slight heat, the wrap would make holes, mostly in designs with gaps, but also on the flat sides of soap. I suppose if you had a perfectly square shape and were SUPER gentle, they could both give you and OK seal. But it's easy to mess up, so I frankly wouldn't call this a winner if you just want to buy it for that.No matter the case, I'm going to keep buying this, and I hope they don't stop selling it. Thanks for making a great product!

Great alternative to plastic wrap
I was looking for a replacement for plastic wrap given its environmental impact and am happy to have found this one. It is sturdy while still clinging nicely to many surface types, to be honest much better than the traditional brands. It’s similar to Costco’s cling wrap but the added bonus of being compostable. I suppose the cutter is a little different to get used to but nothing insurmountable and there is nothing sharp for my kiddo to cut herself on. So that’s a real benefit. All in all, I’d say this a great option for an alternative to plastic wrap.

Guilt free !!
Being conscientious about plastic use, using Saran wrap made me feel way too guilty.Of course I’m trusting that this product breaks down. I haven’t tested that out. However, there is NO difference in quality when comparing non biodegradable options. It works great and psychologically I feel a lot better that it won’t outlive me!! Its worth the extra $

Good idea, but terrible product
The idea of a compostable and biodegradable cling wrap is nice, but this product honestly does not work. I have been using it for a few months now and the quality is terrible.- tears easily. Can’t even get it off the roll without tearing- only clings to itself and barely to other surfaces- the box part of the product is also falling apart. When I try to pull it out, the whole roll will come out of the box. They gotta go back to the drawing board with this one. Good idea, but poor execution.

Good Quality
This is the first time I have used this product. I am impressed. The wrap clings well but doesn’t cling so much that it sticks to everything. The box is very sturdy and it has a cutter inside the box that you take out and attach to the outside of the box. It’s a peel and stick. It cuts the cling wrap easily.Update to my review. The cling wrap got torn on the roll and then twisted up. We were unable to fix the cling wrap so that we could pull the full width of the wrap from the roll. I have this problem with non-green cling wraps. We ended up throwing it away. I hope others have a better experience than we did. It’s too bad as we really want to change to an environmentally safe product.

Best Compostable Wrap on the market!
I had tried several brands of alternative Saran wraps — I don’t want to add more plastic to our landfills and ultimately our water table — but unfortunately all have been pretty terrible, even the brand I found Target was selling… until I got on Amazon, read some reviews, and decided to try this one. It is absolutely the best one I’ve ever seen or touched. You might never know that it’s not plastic. The cutter works fabulously, the cardboard box is much sturdier than most, it is super durable and will not disintegrate. It can travel. It can handle some variation in temperatures. It does not get tangled up or shred easily like others I have tried.. It will lose some clinginess after being wrapped and unwrapped, but so does plastic cling wrap. So this performs the same (but is made of corn starch).I’m so happy I tried another bio wrap and found this one. I use it for a variety of things, including body care, and I just can’t believe how well it works.

Compostable
I really like this plastic wrap! I wanted some thing compostable and others that I have tried were so frustrating to use. This one however, has a sliding cutter which makes handling so much easier. Highly recommend.

difficult to get off ht roll
I really like the idea of this cling wrap, but it was difficult to unroll and also to cut off. Then only part of it got cut off and I couldn't use the rest of the roll because I could only get strips of it off the roll.
