China GlazeNail Polish, Counting Carats 1422

This polish is great! You can put it on lightly for a sheer glitter, or use multiple coats for a glitter extravaganza. It has fantastic staying power (kind of hard to get off, actually), and I get tons of compliments when I wear it!

Was looking to replace a very specific type of gold sparkle nail polish that was discontinued a few years ago. I bought several replacements in various stores in all price categories (low to high) but could not find the right one. Many of them were too runny and too much of a solid color gold, or so chunky that the bottle would dry up rather quickly.I finally decided to browse on Amazon and came across this. Based on the photo color alone I figured it looked close to the discontinued color from another brand.When I received this product I tried it on right away. It is the closest match to what I have been on the search for - YAY!!!The color is a beautiful gold with a mix of large and small size sparkles - this is important if you want your nail to shine in all lighting.It also has very very light rainbow sparkles that bounce off of light and give it even more shine.Sometimes I sit near the sunlight, or any light in my home and just watch the beautiful sparkle :) or I’ll turn on the flashlight on my phone and be mesmerized by the shine/sparkle :)I love this color and will 100% buy again!!

I love the color. I know a lot of people said it is thick. It is compared to most of their polishes but I hope you all know the trick to that. As soon as I added a little bit of remover to the bottle (just like I do to revive my older polishes I love) it was just fine. I also recently ordered their 'Pearl jammin' and thought it may be streaky but it wasn't. I really do like China Glaze. Thought I'd mention that small trick of the remover bc I really hope those that said it didn't trash it. Easy fix and worth it :)I got the counting carats, and did one bottom coat, only one coat of the sparkle polish, and only one top coat. People who are posting theirs are chipping or "peeling off"... That's because you're putting 5-6 layers on... 1 bottom, 3 of the color, and a top coat (or two). Of course it will peel off. Again, if it is thick, add a small amount of remover to your bottle and shake it. (If still thick, add more. Start small).

I recently stopped wearing gel nails and thankfully my nails recovered nicely. I love this color for everyday use, even though some of the gold flecks are a bit too chunky for my liking it does stay on (or appears to since it’s such a neutral color) but it’s hell to remove. Took like 5 cotton pads and some serious elbow grease. But I liked it so much I put it right back on so….

She Sparkles! I’m so glad I tried this, I had been using another brand but needed so many layers. Not with this one. I could’ve stopped at one, but I need an extra one. I’m very happy with it. Yes it’s gonna be hard to take off but it’s worth it for the sparkle! P

I’m a two tone kind of gal. I love wearing white gold and yellow gold together. When I found this counting carets , I had it “made in the shade”--That is my kinda shade. I no longer hv to mix gold glitter and silver polish on my own. What a blessing!!! When this polish wears off every 5-6 days I do instant touch ups then off I go . I can go couple of weeks b4 I need to do a full mani. It’s my new identity shade. I get so many compliments. You go China glaze!

Good to put on a solid color nail polish first. Red or black, the add the layer on top. Pretty nails and last for about a week.

The polish has great coverage/shine… but takes forever to remove.
