Winternight Trilogy Set Paperback – January 1, 2019

Haven’t read yet but we’re strongly recommended to me.

I read and loved the series so much that I bought the gift set for my brother. He is already loving the first book.

Narrative and concrete detail are woven together in such a captivating way, I plowed through the entire series in 10 days. I started reading the first book as something to make me "sleepy" before bed, and suddenly, I looked up and saw the sun shining through my window. The characters are complex, and delve into moral ambiguity and the human, sometimes "devil" condition. Highly recommend!

As someone who loves Russian fairy tales and Russian history, these books were an easy sell. The writing was a wonderful surprise! Arden is so gifted as a storyteller. I could not put this trilogy down.If you liked Witcher or like myths like Persephone, this story blends elements of both. So many great characters and magical things to love, and the writing is gorgeous. Suitable to young people, with nothing graphic and everything classic and romantic, I wish they would bring this series to film.Arden says she began this series at 23. I cannot wait to read more of her truly inspired fiction.

Well written storyline; the first book set the tone of adventure. Most appropriate for a teen-twenties reader.
