Good price, good quality, good fit
Worked perfectly, just make sure the gasket doesn't fall about and get pinched or folded when your trying to get all the bolts lined up. Also, look up the torque spec for the bolt that hold the cover down. They will break if you over torque them. Been running for a week now and no more oil leak.

Fit 1.8l engine 2013 Chevy Sonic
The media could not be loaded. Fixed a P0171 on a 2013 Chevy Sonic 1.8L engine. Had a pcv valve go bad which is integrated into the valve cover. This part fit perfectly. Was able to find YouTube vids on how to fix.I took the car into a mechanic to smoke test to make sure it was the pcv valve. Engine made a weird whistling/airy sound as well as poor gas milage and shaking with poor idle. You will need a T-30 torx bit as well as an inverted T-10 torx socket. Tighten to 71 inch pounds.

Fixed Code P0171 2012 Cruze 1.8L
My 2012 Chevy Cruze 1.8l had the code P0171 and was jittering when stoping at red lights or in traffic. I researched online and found this cover is one of the most likely causes for this issue. Therefore I decided to order this one. After I removed the old cover, I knew it was the problem. The old seals were flatten and worn out, also I saw oil leaking into the spark plug housing, and surrounding areas aroud the motor. I replaced this cover (and the spark plugs as well), it was pretty easy to installed just line up the holes since the seal is already installed. Maybe took me around an hour and half including the spark plug change. Pretty easy and quick to do if you have the right tools.

Careful!!
I decided to take the chance on this cost friendly valve cover. Within an hour of driving the PCV valve in the cover failed and my car started blowing out blue smoke from burning a LOT of oil when giving it gas. Replaced with a new OEM valve cover and it is now working fine.

Spent about $60, saved several hundred from the shop estimate.
Strongly encourage that you watch this video that you can find by searching on: "Chevy Cruze LS 1.8l valve cover replacement with gasket & pcv" which is where I found out about this valve cover. I have 2 oil leaks on my 2015 Chevy Sonic and replacing this cut it down by over half. You'll need to be pretty comfortable working on an auto engine but it isn't too difficult a job. Took me about 2 hours working slow and steady to make sure I didn't screw anything up.
