For me, this makeup beats out the more expensive makeup. It goes on smoothly and doesn't give a heavy coverage which I like. The color I chose was perfect for my skintone.

Nice color stays on great and lasts all day. Does a good job on covering my dark spots, but it is not heavy and doesn’t cake. It’s a great product. My youngest sister tried it and buys it for herself now!

I am SO annoyed I received this product with NO cover! How sanitary can this product possibly be after being in countless warehouses prior to arriving at my door? Very disappointed to put it mildly.Now on to the product review!PROS:Color match is excellent for my pink undertone, uber pale skin. I have previously been using ELF Flawless Finish and their Acne foundation, this is a much lighter color that leaves no jawline ring when I am too lazy to blend as far and as well as I should.No smell! It has the slightest scent of Olay, but nothing crazy.Buildable without caking. I have skin damage on one cheek and always need to double coverage in that spot, the redness seeps through everything. I can easily dab on a second layer and it does not pull off or cake up.Natural finish: I find this to be a softer finish than the ELF Flawless Finish. While it gives me great coverage, it is a muted evened out coverage that looks MUCH more natural than the ELF FF. I can wear only this foundation and look fine, no powder, blush, or anything for a "Oh hey you look great" weekend look.Wrinkles: Yeah, it settles into my lines. And so does my previous ELF foundations! This foundation however settles FAR less than what I was using. I am guilty of crumpling my face, laughing, and actually moving my skin during the day so not only do I have lines, they move! The horrors of being old! Honestly, I am really impressed with how this wears on my skin!OVERALL: I am really glad I tried this foundation--BUT from now on I will repurchase in a store so I can have a cover for my product. Not having a cover is just disgusting so I will avoid rebuying via Amazon again for this reason. But I WILL definitely continue to wear this foundation because it does everything is claims to--and it is now CRUELTY FREE! I honestly think this may be my Holy Grail Foundation!!!!!FYI: I wear this with and without ELF Poreless Primer, I see no real difference between with and without primer at this point. It does not cling to dry skin like the ELF FF. Yes, some days I have serious dry skin due to my new retinol regimen so I know how awful foundation can look over flaky skin--and this one definitely is more moisturizing without being oily. I have very oily skin, large pores, and battle both wrinkles and acne :) I do not set with a powder, and I find that blush sticks to this foundation quite well without fading away after a few hours.

I really like this foundation. It’s very light, blends well, and I don’t need to use a lot of product. It dries quickly. The price is great as is the quality. I will definitely purchase this again.

Very light weight, blends with no lines, covers all and any imperfections. What more can anyone want? I have a very ruddy complexion and this is such a lovely base. Not thick, very silky and only takes a few dabs to cover my whole face. Lasts throughout the day. Much better than far more expensive foundations, cost effective and most of all, no harm to animals. Love it.

This will probably be my new go-to foundation. I've got a terribly complicated skin situation, so let me explain my makeup needs. To start, on top of everything else, I'm a very pale person. I struggle to find color matches. I've got combo-ish skin, and by that, I mean I've got literally everything at once. My skin isn't the most oily ever, typical T-zone stuff, however I live in a climate with 0% humidity so I've also got dry skin. But if I treat my skin like it's "dry", I get super oily, so I've found a balance that keeps my skin relatively in the neutral zone. That's where foundations come in. Because every foundation I've tried for "normal/combo" skin? I look like a lizard. And yes, I exfoliate and all that good stuff, doesn't help the scaley situation. I've had yet to find a foundation that doesn't cling to me in some horrible way. I started looking for a foundation that wasn't matte, but wasn't overly dewy either.Enter CoverGirl! I've tried another CoverGirl foundation before, and I knew that their Ivory shade in that one suited me pretty well. Thankfully their shades seem similar across their foundations because that's something I've experienced issues with too (Lookin' at you, Maybelline). When I was looking into this foundation, I noticed that it had a natural look, not too matte or dewy, and it has added skin benefits. Plus, it's so much cheaper on Amazon than in the store! I actually checked to make sure I wasn't looking at it wrong, because normally this foundation is way more expensive. So glad I decided to try it!Every time I wear this foundation, not only does it actually stay of my face (doesn't break apart, minimal fading) but it doesn't cling and make me look scaley either! And it's worth noting that when I wear foundation, it's usually in a 12+ hour capacity, I don't usually do touch-ups, I don't bring powder everywhere, I'm just too lazy for that. When I say this foundation lasts and has minimal fading, it's over a really long amount of time. The other glorious thing? Whenever I wear this foundation, my skin actually gets smoother and softer! I've noticed the more I wear it, the better my skin looks without makeup at all! It was super surprising, I didn't expect to notice any kind of effect on my face (I'm in my early 20's, and my skin might not be super great, but it's not horrid either, and frankly I kinda thought the Olay thing was just a gimmick). So far, this product has answered all of my woes, and I couldn't be happier!

The color was a good match for my olive/golden skin. It wet on smooth and looked natural. Did not totally cover my imperfections. Used it over a month and kept noticing under the skin raised areas. Like blemish’s. Unusual for me. I stopped for a week and no more skin eruptions. I wanted to keep using this because it’s lovely. Too take to take back now.
