Assam Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe Tea Single Origin Teas of India Black Morning Tea - 1 Pound

I first ordered this tea in 2015 and have never forgotten it. I am Australian, and have found it challenging to find good quality tea in the US at the supermarket and more specialized markets like wholefoods, fresh market etc etc. This is just a beautiful tea, really aromatic and impossible to make a bad cup.

If you are expecting this to be anything like a quality Assam TGFOP like I did, you are in for a disappointment. This tea lacks any sort of complex flavor profile and is much like any store brand black tea, and maybe even a bit less interesting than that. I learned the hard way that when there are so few reviews, "Verified Purchaser" probably doesn't mean much. There is no way that anyone who actually knows anything about tea could give this five stars! I called the company to arrange a return, and was met with a very bad attitude and even some uncertainty about the return policy. And this was the owner I was talking to. Finally, I was told I could return it at my expense for a refund. Lovely. I purchased this through their website, not through Amazon because it was cheaper. But I found out about the product here.

Best tea. Addicted to aroma. But 24 dollars per pound bit costly if you are a tea lover you will like it.Thank you.
