Twelve South Suitcase for 16 inch MacBook Pro (2019 – 2020)| Tailored Protective Rigid Case with Interior Pocket and Leather Handle

This is exactly what I was looking for. More specifically, I wanted a durable hard case with a carrying handle, no frills. The Suitcase is sufficiently tough to handle banging into things on occasion, although I wouldn't stack things on top of it; it can still flex with enough pressure. The interior lining is very nice, and it's great that you don't actually have to remove your Macbook to use it.I do have one criticism, however. The back-retaining mechanism (a little strap running through a piece of rubber) makes contact with the lid of the Macbook when closed. It's unlikely to do any damage, but if they wanted to improve the design, they should move that a couple of centimeters away from the Macbook, or use various other ways to hide the small rubber components. That could be a potential pressure point that transfers pressure into two spots on the Macbook; granted, since they're at the edges of the lid, these should be pretty robust, but I'm nitpicking.

I love the Suitcase for MacBook. I use it with my MacBook Air and it's perfect. The laptop sits right inside and the suspensions work great to protect the computer even when in use. There is room for the computer cord inside the case, but not the plug itself. I prefer to not have the extra bulk to carry accessories and other things anyway since it keeps the design itself really slim and lightweight. The handle on the outside also makes it easy to transport. Overall, I love this product.

The Suitcase for the MacBook is a great case. No need to store it or put it aside because it stays put with the computer. Its sturdy and can be used alone or carried in a bag. The best of both worlds.

This is a good, solid product, but there are two slight drawbacks which prevent me from giving it a 5 star rating. First, the zipper is hard to pull closed, just seems stickier than it should be. Second, it is not easy to get the case to stay in contact with the "back" of the laptop. You have to pull on the closing strings and it is more difficult than I think it should be. But it does provide great protection, nice and easy to carry and it looks good. Fix those challenges and it would be a five.

Great for 2020 MacBook Pro 13. My only concern is that the elastic bands may lose its stretch some time in the future due to accumulated usage. We will see.

Hold computer well ... however the elastics that hold the top are cheap and easily stretch back and cause lid to just flop back .... unfortunately I really needed it to hold lid up ... so disappointed for the price

This is a well-built and attractive product. I didn’t want to carry my laptop in my big bag every day, so this is a nice compromise to grab and go.

Great design. The bungie cords work well against the back of my macbook pro 16". Best case I've had yet.
