Box of shortbread is MUCH bigger than I expected. The cookies are packed about 9 to a tray, and the bars are in a double layer. Because they're wrapped in smaller batches, the shortbread stays fresh longer. Delicious. Thanks

THEY ARRIVED MOSTLY BROKEN

As usual, the cookies are scrumptious, however, I received a tin of crumbs...so disappointed...this is the SECOND tin of cookies that were delivered from this store that were nothing but crumbs. Avoid this store. Buy them directly from Scotland...they are delivered in one piece!

This is a large metal box of Walkers shortbread, with 4.6 pounds of buttery goodness packaged into 12 individual sleeved trays to keep them fresh longer. Each of the trays contained one of the 4 popular cookie shapes, including rounds, fingers, triangles, and a shape called Demerara, which was a thinner round with a textured top instead of Walker's usual smooth shape. I was a bit hesitant to order because many of the other reviews mentioned receiving stale, broken cookies that could only be used for pie crusts and crumble tops. The cookies that I received were fresh and in pristine condition---there was not so much as a broken corner on any of those many, many cookies, let alone a box of crumbles that others had mentioned. My husband and I have been snacking on this package for 2 months now, and still have 1/3 of the package in unopened sleeves. The metal box decorations suggest that these may be Costco Christmas overstock so I'm not sure how long Amazon will have these---but I sure hope that I can order one more box before they run out.

Delicious but both two packs I purchased had mostly broken cookies. If you plan to put them out on a platter I wouldn’t recommend. Better packaging is definitely needed.

Best with coffee in the morning without going downstair to buy more greasy donuts.

Half the cookies were broken. I believe it has to do with the way it was packaged. It was in a box which opened on it side, instead of opening a box from the top. I should receive 1/2 price credit.
