Q: Has anyone washed their wig? How did it turn out?

I've washed mine. It looks fine. Just use proper synthetic wig shampoo and conditioner, pat it dry, and scrunch the curls after gently combing it with a synthetic wig comb. You don't want to force the curls out. Finally, use a wig stand to let it fully air dry. It's alway a good idea to use conditioning spray in between washes to maintain the synthetic hair's luster.

Look on Youtube. You'll find how to style it.

Q: Could I dye part of the wig without ruining it?

You could snip a tiny part off and try RITZ Color remover. Then to recolor also fabric dye. Think of it as fabric. It will probably be trial and error. Maybe sacrifice one wig to figure out what you want to do. Back in the 70's that's what we did. I worked with wigs for over a decade.

When you first receive your wig, wash it. Then, use talcum powder to remove the shine. Don't do the ends because they will puff up, are thicker and awful. If not, look on Amazon for a spray.
