FOX Racing Shox Transfer Factory Dropper Seatpost - Internal Routing

There are a number of things to consider when you get a dropper post, but if this is the right size for you and your bike, I know it would work well. The air piston works every time, and despite being heavier, I have never even felt like I was straining the post. Plus I love the color of the stanchion as well.

Absolutely love the fox transfer. Took it for the first ride today. Worked way better than my old POs rock shox reverb. Also super quick and easy install.Can’t say enough good things about the seller. Very quick communication and had the item shipped out the door by the next morning. Would 100% buy from them again.

Works and looks great. I think internally routed configurations are trickier to install. I installed mine on a TREK POWERFLY 4. Real world use on trails makes this dropper invaluable. Among the three bikes I have with different droppers, this one is the best in terms of actuation speed, certainty of deployment, sound and smoothness.

I liked how easy it was to install. Also it works perfectly. Hands down best dropper out there. You will not regret it.

For reference, I have used 4 types of seatposts in the past 2 years. The older 2018 transfer I had has fine as long as you didn't overnighter the seat clamp. The other very expensive post I used has the Bike Yoke Revive 2. That post is also very good as long as you remove the foam air filter after a few months since it will break down and get into the post. My current post is a Oneup V2, which is my current cost to performance recommendation.Now onto why the new fox transfer posts are terrible. I have tried two separate posts. It seems that it's a quality control problem. If you get a good post, that's great. But it is very common to get a bad one. I believe a main factor on these post sticking is weather. Anything below around 55 F is too cold for these posts, which is ridiculous for the price. It looks cool with the Kashima, but it's not worth it. Don't buy this post unless you want the risk of having a huge headache and multiple ruined rides my sticking posts. And yes, I have taken them apart, cleaned, suspension greased, and took care of them. It normally helps for around a week for doing 30 minutes of labor on it.
