Perfect colors to create a tortoise shell pattern.

Love the sheerness and “buildibility” of the colors. My first time trying the tortoise shell look, so any criticism you may have of the result is most certainly due to my inexperience than a fault of the polishes. Went off of the YouTube tutorial by Nail Chark for technique. Very pleased with the polishes, and excited to use them again!

I use four coats and lasts me two weeks. In the picture I combined the middle two colors. The dark turquois first (2 coasts) and the sparly 2nd (2 costs).. i have many of their other colors too, including the color changing line. They all work great! I use a base and top coat by Aimeili.

Perfect set for the trendy tortoise nails! Very easy to use, the polish itself is very nice and sheer with a good consistency, applies well and so far the durability / longevity is solid!I included pics in different light so you could see the full effect. Be nice, I know my nails could use work but I was just doing a quick trial on myself! For reference- I used over hard gel overlay on my natural nails.

I’m starting to do my own nails and I’ve seen sooo many pictures on Pinterest For tortoise design. I decided to try it on a Gelix nail and I loved it! I have a small UV lamp that I received with my poly gel set and the gel polishes work excellent. The pigment is great! Bought other colors as well and they have outdone themselves.

*You DO need a UV/LED lamp to cure!* Wonderful vibrant colors. I did think the darkest color was a shade of grey, but it’s a deep forest green. Looking closer at the picture I can see it’s a green. These colors compliment each other so well. I love to do the ring finger slightly different and the blue glitter is PERFECT. I used one coat of the dark blue before applying the blue glitter for a closer match. I use Gellish base and top coat with these and they’re great. This picture is day 4. No real chips yet. That’s more a reflection of the top coat though. These colors are great! The sea foam blue is bright and perfect for summer!!

The colors are beautiful, true to the pictures, and you get a good amount in each bottle. I've used as directed and had my polish on for 6 days now and it still hasn't chipped at all. Thats even with being fairly rough on them. Each color had nice coverage. Overall, I'm impressed by the quality of the polish and satisfied with my purchase. There was a small issue I encountered that happened during shipping, but the seller was extremely helpful and prompt in resolving it. I would absolutely be a return customer, especially knowing any customer service issue will be handled with exceptional care.

The first time I used the gel polish, I used too thick of layers and it ended up bubbling. But this time, I used thin layers and it came out beautifully!! I love it. The thickness it adds and how it doesn't chip! I'm so happy with it. I wanted Salon nails at home and I got what I wanted!

I just love the result ❤️ I’ll be back to let you know if the product stayed intact on my nail for 3 or more weeks.

The media could not be loaded.  I'm still in two minds about this brand of gel polish.I don't do my nails often and always use my_lee builder gel as a base to strengthen my natural nails before applying a gel colour and have only ever previously used bee_tles when doing my nails myself.I bought this set because this was the first set where I liked every colour included so when I tried the colours I was a bit disappointed to find that they didn't quite match the hues of those pictured.I can't quite tell if its the lighting, my skin tone or the colour but the pink has a more bubblegum pink hue to it than shown. The glitter pink is a transparent pink gel with glitter so unlikely to achieve the colour shown without a solid pink base coat.On application the gel appears to partially air dry before going under the lamp & I'm still not quite sure if this is a +ve or -ve "feature" vs my regular brand and does not appear to have affected durability. I did however notice that it needed longer during times than the usual 60secs.In addition to the builder gel base I used 2 x coats of pink, 1 x glitter pink & 1 x gloss top coat on my finger nails.I would like to try the pink with a matte top coat as i think the colour might look better in this finish.Have been on 6 days with no chipping so far.Overall I don't think I'd be in a rush to buy this brand again which is a shame as they've got some impressive colour combinations on screen.

The colours aren’t as shown, the burgundy colour is pink, the pink colour is Barbie pink, the orange is more of a pink coral.The pink/burgundy shade is very sheer, but the black has very good coverage.I’m a bit 50/50 with this most recent set I’ve bought, but I didn’t have a single complaint with the last set. This set of polishes don’t seem to want to last as long despite the brand being the same.Also don’t bother with the top coat, it’s extremely thick and gloopy. Doesn’t give a very good coverage at all.

This is a lovely nail varnish. The varnish goes on very well. You could probably get away with 1 coat but I found I got more of the iridescent look when you move the nails in the light with the second coat. There is also a fine glitter in the polish which for me all adds a depth and prettiness to the polish. Don't expect it to be highly glittery and holographic or you'll be disappionted, but if you want something that's not a flat colour with a bit of interest, I would definitely recommend giving this a go. And, plus point for me I don't know about others, but I didn't get much of a reaction from the polish. I did get some on my skin and whilst I've had a slight bit of irritation, I've had no where near as much of a reaction as some other very popular brands.

These are very nice jelly colours. Perfect for creating the tortoiseshell effect. Very pleased with the products.
