Viega 50040 PureFlow 3/4-Inch PEX Press Tool with Blue Handle

i recommend everyone get this tool and the 1/2" [50020, yellow]. for roughly $400 you can do most of your plumbing work yourself!the two tools paid for themselves the very first time i used them. i removed a bathroom and cut back the pex lines and at the same time upgraded my outside tap from 1/2" to 3/4". this job would have cost me much more than $400 in labor alone had i hired a plumber. they'll pay for themselves over and over as i gradually put radiant floor heat into my house.using the tools couldn't be easier. make sure you see the pex through one of the three holes on the connector, put the pex press tool on, making sure it's lined up correctly, and clamp. it makes plumbing about as easy as putting together legos. the tools are pretty bomb proof. short of abuse, i can't see a way these would stop working properly.even though these tools are used infrequently, they are absolutely worth the cost. i've already told my friends / family / neighbors that they're welcome to borrow them whenever they need, so your friends / family / neighbors can benefit too!my only complaint is that on the tools is printer 'KEEP JAW PROFILE CLEAN'. i'm a proud beard owner, and viega should keep their facial hair opinions to themselves! ;)
