Perfect for a 3-4 year old girl who loves trains! She can hardly stop squealing with excitement! The whistle and smoke are just great, and the controller is so easy for her to work. We are a 4-generation Lionel family and are thrilled that our granddaughter loves both Lionel trains and Frozen, so what's not to love? We did buy extra track to make a figure 8 which makes it much better. Expensive but completely worth it!

Got this set for my granddaughter and she loves it.

Do not buy. This product was last manufactured in November 2021. I purchased in November and the Locomotive no longer receives power and won’t connect to controller. More so, it’s not eligible for a return or covered under warranty. This was not disclosed at time of purchase. Products that are more than 3 years old, from date of manufacture, are not applicable for warranty coverage, even if they have never been sold prior to this date. (Under no circumstance shall any components or labor be provided free of charge.)

These will last a lifetime with a little bit of care. This is a real Lionel train set, just like the old days, with features that bring it into a new century! Don't waste your money on that $89 set, its battery powered plastic.
