I've bought 3 of these, bc I keep losing them 🙄. I work at target and open SO many boxes every day. This is effortless. Squeeze equals blade. It never cuts me. When I'm not holding it, it retracts immediately. I won't ever use a different blade!

I love this box cutter. It's lightweight and easy to use. You can easily store replacement blades in the knife itself (it includes several with purchase) and because it uses standard blades, the replacements are very inexpensive. This is my third purchase of this product! It's great quality, lightweight, the blades last long. I work in the fast food industry and open multiple boxes daily without any issues. I don't have to change the blades often. It cuts smoothly. I love the retractable squeeze function.

I was a little worried about it opening up while in my vest pocket but it hasn’t yet, even when it’s in my pants pocket I haven’t been pricked. One thing is it’s not very long, like the actual blade part does protrude very much. But there are 3 settings I use the first one (shortest) because I am opening boxes with clothes in them and if the perfect length to just cut the tape. So the blade length is not a problem for me at all. I have used it 5 days a week for like 6 hour's a day for about 2 months now and I’m already on a second blade thinking it’s about time for another one. I’m not sure if that’s good, bad, or normal.

Great price was exactly whati needed

I bought two box openers to help out with the opening of boxes at a local food pantry. The other was more expenduve and jammed on the first attempt at using it. This one has operated perfectly from the time it was first removed from its shipping packet. It it very safe given that the blade automatically retracts when you lay it down. The blade only extends when one grips the handle! It is an excellent design, and we have been using it ever since I bought it. I highly recommend it as a #1 useful box knife that does extremely well what it was designed to do.

When I bought this I was hoping this would be a good replacement for the safety blades my work provides, unfortunately it wasn't as great as I hoped.The biggest problem with the blade is that even on the highest setting the blade does not extend all the way, this actually makes it cumbersome for some uses such as thick cardboard and cutting thin insulation/wires (when measuring and trying to cut the wire without setting it down somewhere because the blade length is too little).The good points is that it is pretty safe with the ability to use the guards, adjust how far the blade sticks out and the ability to lock the blade to keep it from accidentally activating in your pocket. The palm based operation makes it superior for holding the blade in the out position versus the others that depend on you to hold your thumb up, which can get tiresome.It is also very easy to replace the blades with a compartment that doesn't require a screw driver.I find the blade to be a bit on the light side, but this is a personal preference, I like to have a little weight to my box cutter because it tends to make cutting a bit easier by adding extra force when cutting.Bottomline, good for tape and thin cardboard. . . Poor for thick cardboard and trying to cut anything without having to set it down somewhere.
