I dont even know where to start with this thing. I mainly purchased this to make my son some home made Waffell (ie criss cross) style french fries. As i was told a waffel cutting style would do it. No it don't. Then there is the awkwardness of trying to figure out how to uise it in the first place, lifting sharp blade to allow the cutting options to move. Very danagerous really, easily cut yourself. The vegatable ie pototoes, is very difficult to cut throu, so ends up ripping it rather than a simple slice. There is no actualy setting to increase or decrease thickness desired, its all the same thin cut. Inwhich if you try and do fries, its like paper thin. Just awful and for the money, i was expecting good things, for what it is, its a joke they charge so much. Save yourself money because if i knew then what i knew know, i wouldnt have brought this even if itwas from the Poundland. Just shocking.
