Ok... I know I'm not the only one... I'm female, but sometimes hair grows were it shouldn't or it's just too much or too long! Well I'm just not into the full mustache look, I'm sorry!I've kept a trimmer like this (of another brand) on hand for years. They work, but they normally don't last well and even though they don't get handled roughly, they seem to fall apart.So I went looking for another brand, found this , felt like Remington should be a good product (they've been around forever) and decided to try it.Well, I love it! And it just feels better in your hand. You don't feel like it's about to just fall to pieces like my others did. It really seems like it will last, it works great, it doesn't leave that just shaved look or feel and (when I need to) I will definitely get another one in this brand next time.

For trimming nose and ear hair, trimming a mustache and eyebrows, and leveling sideburns, this does exactly what it should. I've used the rotating drum types, and they usually fall short. This doesn't. This is my third one now, and I will say the last two died completely before the battery did. So what? It's cheap, just buy a new one. I seem to get about three years out of each one, to me the convenience of having something that works exactly as I want it to makes this an easy choice when it comes time to buy a replacement.

This trimmer was horrible. The first time I used it I realized I needed to press a bit for if to cut anywhere near the skin. What I ended up with was a slightly trimmed up beard that still needed work and irritated skin from me pressing slightly. Also, this trimmer was SOAKED with oil when I got it. Had to wipe entire thing off with rubbing alcohol just to degrease it.... I will say, it did trim my eyebrows rather well but did not work at all for coarser hair

I loved this and I bought it off Amazon in 2017, so it lasted me a long time. It finally died in a manner similar to the other reviews on here talking about brand new batteries than almost instant dying and have to shut it off and turn if back on again hoping it would work. I had decided to order a new one, but reading the recent reviews I don't think I will.I am giving this a 4 because it did last me a couple years before dying and I don't have any complaints about its performance,, but I can't say whether or not the manufacturer has changed anything or cheapened the product in the intervening years since I bought mine. Mine lasted years before dying, other people are having them sputter out on them right out of the box.Not sure if my review helps at all, but I feel it's important to look not just at verified purchaser reviews, but also the dates because sometimes the product is changed and the positive reviews/reputation is from the older version of a product.

Absolute garbage. Barely runs after a few uses. Replace the battery and it runs at the correct speed for a few seconds only then barely at all. I clean lubricate and replace the battery again with the same result. A waste of money. It will only pull hair now not cut.
