EmoursTM Aquarium Sinkable Driftwood Fish Tank Decoration (M(8-10inch in length))

Great piece for the tank, really dramatic bit of drift wood. Great size as well. Just boil first and submerge for around a week for it to sink, in another container. Also helps remove colouring but is well worth it.

I bought this and it floats despite it saying sinkable

Firstly it depends on what type of look you want in your aquarium. This particular one ordered was for a 56 litre aquarium. If I wanted to make this the centre piece then really it was a little on the small side. However, i was fortunate enough to have another piece of wood which when placed together has made a nice centre piece. The shape of this one was ideal and gave me some height especially when i had put a couple of plants on it. On receiving the item (which took a while) i put it in a bucket of water for about a week at which point the tannin had all gone so there was no discolouration of the aquarium water once i had placed it in.

As much as I wish I could claim this to be 8-10 inches it’s not even 7. Now I know how woman feel. The piece I got looked like something a dog chewed on the park. I gave it 2 stars as I think it is wood. Other than that it doesn’t fit it’s description

The real thing, proper driftwood. Bought 3 in all, all nice chunky lumps.
