It really is just ointment with powdered boric acid mixed into it. When I put it on, I can feel the powder. It’s not a big deal because it does what it’s supposed to do but you could probably make it yourself for two bucks

finally found this old standby again yay
for years our family used boric acid salve for cuts and slivers etc. then they stopped making it and I couldn't find it I came across this and was so happy. this stuff works great for the above mentioned. Glad I found it.

This stuff is great!
This is sold as an antiseptic, but it works great for muscle pain. It's also great at clearing up skin blemishes or lesions that don't go away in their own. I would highly recommend it. Make sure to wash your hands after using, and you can wipe excess ointment off with a dry cloth.
