Very happy with them - I did prepare them before use
I am a beginner making sourdough. I bought these bannetons after using a tea towel in bowls for quite a few loaves, and managing to get dough stuck to most of them.I followed some guidance I found (cannot now remember where... possibly in the instructions with it), to prepare the bannetons before use. To do this, I sprayed them with water and then covered them in semolina and let it dry. Before adding the dough, I added more semolina to the linen, being careful to add extra around the edges for where it was going to rise, and I have had zero problems with my dough (which has been very wet!) sticking to them.I'm very happy with them and would recommend. I haven't cleaned them yet as I believe they don't need it. I have just been drying them out.

Great for the price: 2x10“: 1 round;1 oval £18.99. Have seen better quality but more expensive. 5 stars for usability, 4 stars for quality. Works well. Be sure to liberally dust basket & loaf dough with flour before placing , floured,firmish ie. not too sticky, dough into basket . I dampen linen liner & place over top until risen:Easy-peasy. I don’t wash basket between frequent uses. I’d recommend as lovely product.
