I used this to replace fluorescent tube lights in the garage. These were perfect, super bring and easy to mount with the brackets. Love the different wire connections, for either hard wire or plug access. The tubes were thin, but extremely bright! No more buzzing or flickering!

Like these a lot! Been getting this type of inexpensive 4ft LED's for garage, work shop and basement environment type uses. These being a foot shorter are actually easier to install in some places and still give off plenty of light! The power and extension/linking cables on these are much beefier, just nicer than all the other brands I've gotten. The link cables are nice and long also, about 2-3 times longer than most allowing you to actually spread them a bit better. Add that they are like 10 bucks a pack cheaper than their 4ft counterparts, great deal!

Although described only as super-bright lights, they are the best LED grow lights. Not having built-in timers is an advantage rather than a disadvantage because ones with built-in timers constantly have to be reset with every power outage or without, while plugging the Barrina 4' or 3' lights into mechanical timers makes them dependable and problem-free. I have been using them for 2 years without a single failure. In addition to that they are very reasonably priced.

I got these to use as grow lights for my anthuriums in a grow tent but ultimately ended up returning them for the grow light version from Barrina. I have the Barrina grow light T5s that I purchased previously and thought I'd get these this time to save some money because people said they are basically the same. I do agree that the light output is the same, but I think the grow light versions cost more because they do have more features. For example, these don't have individual on/off switches on each of the bars, which is something I missed. Another thing that I found annoying was that the connection for these bars have a direction - so it matters which way the light was turned in order to be able to daisy chain them using the length of connecting wires provided. This was a problem for me because I couldn't turn off individual bars (due to the lack of on/off switch) so I tried to just unplug one, but that didn't work because that end of the next bar was like the "male" side and the cord was also the "male" side. Just thought this might be useful info for others trying to use these as grow lights.

Bought this for grow light, 3ft to match the length of the shelves. All six lights are connected in series. Light weight I used zip tie to hold the lights.Ordered 4 ft version for my garage

These are excellent lights that provide more than enough lumens for my indoor plants. I have two sets hung on three shelves, so four bars per shelf, and I am getting lux readings of around 12,000 at plant height, perfect to give just enough light stress to my Haworthias. Don't fall for "grow lights" if you are growing succulents or other ornamental plants inside, just use white lights that are as bright as you can afford. The range of colors "grow lights" provide are only important for flowering and fruiting, and the color spectrum degrades quickly anyway so they need to be replaced frequently. These are very cool and energy efficient, providing bright light without much heat. They are so easy to hang, I just used Velcro strips to fix them onto the bottom of each shelf. I'll be getting another two or more sets when I bring my outside plants in for the winter. They kept my more light hungry plants stable last winter with no etiolation on even the couple Echeveria I had then. I have them plugged into a timer so they turn on and off automatically, and I have them set for 12/12. I am very pleased with both the quality and the price, as they are even on sale frequently, making them even more affordable. I highly recommend these to anyone trying to do an economical indoor succulent setup.

Bright, light weight, and easy installation. I installed them end to end after fastening the clips to the steel ceiling. The only thing I changed was that I bought stainless steel screws, as I needed a good grip in the 29 gauge steel panels and the provided screws were too soft. Otherwise a great product that earns five stars.
