GREAT ADDITION TO THE REFORMER! This box is really well constructed with a good weight and side handles to make carrying and positioning easier. It fits perfectly on the carriage and and won't budge when the strap is tied properly. (check the description as this will only fit on reformers with pully risers) It adds more variation to my workout. It takes a little work to get good at using this, but definitely worth the time and effort. Great seller, shipped and delivered quickly. I love this thing! The pole extends to different lengths to aid with variation during your workout. It also comes with an instructional DVD. I'm glad I purchased this package.

I love this product. It is very well-made. It is sturdy, it helps me complete what was missing on my Pilates reformer for exercise. This is a straightforward and simple review. Just go get it. You won’t regret it and it does come with the DVD how to use the equipment. Five stars all the way.

I went back and forth on ordering this box, thinking how much can it really improve my pilates workouts but I am so happy I did. I am shocked how it increases not only the moves that I can do but improves my position, posture, balance, just so many things. The stick I have also been able to use not only for stability but in place of maple poles that some work outs require. The box is well made, sturdy and came very well packed as to not be damaged in shipping. The padding is just as substantial as that on my reformer. it also fit my pilates machine perfectly. I have not used the strap yet since my reformer came with a strap. I love this, use it and would highly recommend it to everyone.

Yes, the vinyl fabric is rather slick...depending on the exercise, you can slip. So, I use my pad to help limit slipping. I cut a piece of Neoprene rubber...rubber on one side and cloth on the other...and use that as a pad to prevent slipping when doing the stomach massage on my reformer and something you might call a swan push with this box on the reformer. I push on the foot bar with my hands while lying stomach down on this box. Put the rubber side down and cloth side up on the pad and it creates improved friction with my clothes. Still...if you are wearing slick clothes...you're going to slip some. It's asking for a lot to have the surface so sticky that you won't slip regardless of what exercise you're doing.I don't mind the metal handles, but they could be more curved...and easier on the hands. That said, why not use nylon strap handles? That's what balanced body uses.One issue I have with this box and a fancier box I just got as part of a used deal on a balanced body Allegro Reformer...the boxes are hollow and have relatively thin sides. They dig into the mats on top of the carriage. So, I modified this box. Used 2x2 lumber and created a frame that fits inside the box. I used wood screws to hold the frame together and then drilled and bolted the frame to the bottom of the box...it fits all around the bottom edge on the inside Adds some weight, but not a big deal. Rather than have the bare wood sit on the vinyl covered surface of the carriage pad, I glued some thin pieces of scrap foam on the wood frame...the part that would sit against the vinyl pad of the carriage. That's it. Adds a little weight, but not much. Now it doesn't leave much of an indent on the carriage pad after I've been sitting on it. It probably makes the whole box stronger also.

The box I received is well made. I checked the inside as well and it looks like it was assembled correctly. It is comfortable and easy to use, if you use it the right way.
