Nurse as Educator: Principles of Teaching and Learning for Nursing Practice (Bastable, Nurse as Educator) 4th Edition

I bought this book for a class I was taking and was thrilled when I realized how easy to follow and informative it was, considering education as a nurse for me only involved teaching my patients about how to manage their illnesses or maintain their health. I still don't feel being an educator is my calling, but it turns out my natural knack for it is by far improved due to the things I learned through this book in conjunction with my class! I would highly recommend it to any nurse, regardless of your specialty!

Although it was required, this is a great book and wonderful reference

Used for teaching and learning in nursing school very helpful. Would recommend this book if required to be used nursing school. Handy to have as a reference lots of great ideas.

I purchased this eBook because it was a requirement for my nursing course. In my opinion, it is very informative and interesting. This eTextbook provides very detailed information about how to become an effective educator (as an RN and in general), so that the learner's (a patient or a student) acquired knowledge is at her and/or his optimum level. In short, this eBook is an excellent tool which helps design a very effective teaching plan that is tailored to the specific audience (i.e., based on the learner's age, literacy level, environment, motivation, etc.).I only give four stars because the tables, pictures, and diagrams in this eBook are a little blurry, however still readable.

Got this for school. Text reads alright, has good education plan examples. This will be a useful book for practice.

Required textbook, but I found I referenced back to it numerous times as I had to develop teaching plans for other classes. Good choice.
