We bent all the #5 bar for a county concrete boxed culvert replacement job and it has worked very well. Fast and easy even running off the generator.

Still using this unit 1yr after it was initially purchased had to refill the hydraulic for the first time yesterday and believe this was my fault for storing in correctly

Really sturdy construction and at a good cost relative to other options. While it says it can bend #1-7 rebar at 90 degrees, it isn’t accurate out of the box, seemingly not accounting for the spring back that always occurs. Tech support has been super responsive, and has offered a part to correct for this. While appreciated, ideally the design should just be fixed to avoid the need for the part. Would still buy again, but be aware.

Pretty happy with it. Bends 5&6 very easily and quickly. I have not bent #3 or 4 yet and I think it needs to have a piece changed to do smaller bendAs some other similar tool reviews not, be aware that this will bend #5 and bigger in a too small of radius for the code. These should have a 6x bar diameter radius and it will end up a little smaller if you do a full 90 bend without an adjustment. The workaround is to bend to about 60 degrees, release the bender and move the bar about 1/2” and bend again. You’ll end up with a code compliant 90 bend for large bar diameter rebar. Bigger bar like 7 and 8 will probably need more finesse. Still very fast and a time and money saverTool seems very rugged. I have a BN cutter and this complements well. I will make stirrups soon and think it will go well.The box / case is a nice touch albeit very thin cheap feeling that will dent up quick but better than no case and so far it’s held up.

Bought this machine bend stainless steel round bar was a little concerned being it’s a rebar bender but it works great only used it for about 20 min. Gives good radius but leaves nasty indents in material

Worked well. Used it on #6 rebar. Made atleast 60 bends without hesitation.

I am working on this exact machine. The upper bearing failed. The bearings damaged parts of the motor (armature, winding, motor housing etc). Reviewing the parts break down in the manual only shows part number for bearings and other low cost items. There are no part number for item numbers 81-85. See attached screen shots.1. Motor2. Windings3. Armature---damaged needs replacement4. Motor housing-damaged repair possible, may need replacement5. Brushes, worn unevenly, need replacing.I contacted Vevor for part numbers/specifications to obtain the the damaged parts commercially. I provided everything they asked for. It is the exact model number as this one. I provided pictures and detailed inspection findings. Vevor responded, its an older model and we do not have parts.I have looked through the various market places and find many similar parts. Since I do NOT have a specification or a part number I am not sure whether they will work or not. Purchasing another machine like this just because a machine only a year or two old needs parts is unacceptable.I gave it a 2 star because the second machine in service works like a champ. Both machines are needed for production and are identical. The machine is very strong, but once it fails Vevor considers it scrap. If Vevor responds favorably I will update the review and star rating.
