I bought it for my husband, his face was very dry and blotchy. This cream has worked wonders.

I tend to mostly use cheap moisturisers, so it's always nice to try something more expensive. This one smells nice in the tin, having a distinct, but not overpowering, scent of something sufficiently manly. Compared to the old women's cream I've been using lately, this makes me feel like a pirate.A little seems to go quite a long way, so although the tin is small, it'll last longer than you think. It doesn't feel sticky on your hands and dries in quickly, so you don't even need to dry off your hands afterwards. It feels nice and soft and smooth on your face, and that subtle scent lingers on quite a while, so all is good. I've not heard of this brand before, but I'll certainly give them a look to see what else is on offer. I mark it down a star because of the relatively high price, but that's just because I usually buy cheap, generic gunk. If you don't mind the price, this is certainly a product worth checking out.

Strong fragrance makes my eyes water. Have gone back to using Bulldog brand products which have a more subtle fragrance and present better value.

Unusual to get a moisturiser aimed at all-over use including face, hands and body but it works and this Bluebeard's Revenge Cooling Moisturiser is a pleasure to use - and it smells good too! The texture is unusual too because it melts on the skin quite quickly into a liquid watery texture that seems to get absorbed effectively. You're still aware of having moisturised your skin but it doesn't leave an oily or sticky residue behind, just softened skin.The fragrance is sort-of tangy citrus scent that's got a masculine edge but doesn't have that 'Dad's Aftershave' sort of peppery tobacco smell that so many men's toiletries have. It's also very mild and subtle so only those lucky enough to get really close to you will appreciate it - some less subtle men's toiletries could deck a gazelle at 250 metres distance.As for where to use it, I've tried it on all the recommended body areas and it works on all of them. As a body moisturiser it's probably a bit indulgent although the tub is a decent size -- you get 150ml compared to the usual 50ml for face moisturisers -- but it works well, doesn't leave you feeling clammy and really moisturises the skin. Used on your face it's lightweight enough to avoid causing breakouts and leaves the face feeling protected, it's maybe not the best anti-ageing treatment you could buy, but it's good as a daily moisturiser. Handy thing to throw into your washbag when you're off on holiday (remember those?) because one tub does it all and does it pretty well. Nice.

This pot of moisturising cream is a reasonable size and has a good scent - it definitely cools and is very easy to apply. It is a touch expensive in my view but it is nice to use and leaves a good finish. You can't polish the proverbial but this does the next best thing.

If you are a man like me then you have to have some decent hydration after the wear and tear of shaving allied to a hard day out in the elements. I was particularly interested to try this one as I have previously sampled Bluebeard's Revenge Face Scrub and been very impressed. This moisturiser does not disappoint. It initially appears quick thick texturewise, but when you apply it but it quickly breaks down, largely I think, as a result of several oil based ingrdients including Almond, Fenugreek and Jojoba. As a result the cream absorbs quickly into the skin and there is no risk of having a white residue that leaves you looking like a clown which can happen with these kind of products! On application the skin does tingle slightly, but not in an unpleasant way and it does settle the skin down after the challenges of the blade. You could use this in conjunction with the matching exfoliating scrub or on its own, but either way you will be left with a smooth and hydrated face. There is a fragrance which is a bit hard to pin down-not untypical of an after shave balm and with mild herbal notes, but nothing which is going to put anyone off using it. Ideally the pot would be a bit bigger and come with an inner seal, but this is still a great product to get you ready for the day after shaving.

Very pleasant moisturiser. I'm using it on my face. It's really light and non-greasy. Has a gentle cooling effect and keeps skin nicely conditioned. It's a small tub, but you don't need to use much. A quick run through your fingertips first and then smooth over. Not cheap, but it's lovely stuff.
