Does not work and customer service is terrible. They will only deal with you on email at their convenience. Internet connection is sporadic at best. This product does not work.

Received the DoorBird unit on time and as I thought was to be expected. To connect the DoorBird you scan a Digital Passport QR code provided with the unit. When I scanned the code a different Gate controller connected to my app. So now I can see and operate someone else's gate. I believe the unit had been opened and the Digital Passport codes mixed up. Now I am working through reseting the Doorbird with the help of DoorBird. They have been great.I deleted the connection to the other persons Gate.Save your self the trouble and order from DoorBird. DoorBird rep says they do not sell on Amazon.

I have installed the D1101KH as main gate access controller. The device is used for gate access via keypad and house call via the ring button.1. The D11011KH is controlling a gate access system (relay contact) and is connected to the internet via a WIFi bridge to the house network. The Doorbird iOS app is used on iPhone and iPad to answer door calls. Push notification and 2-way video on connect work very reliably on local and network calls2. The configuration/cloud activation is comprehensive and easy to follow once you understand the Doorbird certificate admin process. Once coupled and configured, the iOS apps works flawlessly3. An IP/internet chime has been coupled to the system and provide audible notification on access ringing. This device is also well constructed and works flawlessly allowing multiple choice of chime tomes.
