Always a fun read.
My nine year old son loves this chapter book series of Ready Freddy. We have listened to many of them on audible in the car while doing errands. They are short enough for a quick read, but long enough of a good story. We collect the books as well to go back and reread. Freddy and his pals are lots of fun to read about.

Not too scary but just a little so that little ones pay close attention to the reading
These books are funny and kids can understand the sense of humor. My kids that can read, find it an easy read. For the young ones who cant read yet- they love this series being read to them. Its a good start to introducting kids to chapter books.

Great book for 2nd graders
My 7 year old loves reading these books, I think because the book is talking about things she can relate to. Anything to get kids reading!

Great for night time fears
My six year old son enjoys Ready, Freddy! but I was hesitant to purchase this title because I was afraid it would cause nightmares. To my delight, quite the opposite happened after we read it. Freddy tries different ways to stop his nightmares and, in the end, he discovers the Dream Police. The police are three of his stuffed animals. My son loved this and now brings his Dream Police to bed and has not had any night time fears since.

Good read
My son is a huge fan of Ready Freddy books. We read these a chapter at a time at bedtime.

I would recommend
My son loves these books! They make him laugh. I have purchased all of the Ready Freddy Books published so far and will continue to do so. He is 8 years old and they seem like the reading level is made for children his age.
