Favorite matcha, please open a store in the Bay Area
Best matcha ever! No sugar needed and I just mix it with some hot water and pour in the milk. Please make it more accessible. Like bring it to Whole Foods Market. It's way too expensive on Amazon and they stopped supplying it on Olive Young 😭. I've been asking friends and family to bring it from Korea because $131 per pack on aHere is crazy.

Perfectly suitable for lattes and other mixed applications
It's hard to gauge matcha quality when it's mixed with other things, especially sweeteners, as natural sweetness is one of the measures by which quality is determined. If you're looking at this, you're likely intending to mix it anyway, so I will review it with that in mind. You're likely avoiding sugar, so it's important to know erythritol is a sugar alcohol that triggers sweetness receptors very much like sugar, but can cause gastrointestinal issues since it's a FODMAP, and is thought to contribute to blood clots since it circulates in the bloodstream before being excreted. Some people perceive an aftertaste. Steviol glucosides are commercially branded as Stevia, which can have an aftertaste. So you could evaluate these chemicals with your tastebuds and own gut flora before committing to an expensive bag.If you're comfortable with the sweeteners, I'm generally pleased with the results when mixed. It's a good vibrant green color. Matcha's characteristic grassy and nutty bitterness is muted and met by milk's richness and the powder's sweetness, with no off-flavors (aside from the sweeteners) in latte formats. Adding a shot of espresso may reintroduce the bitterness some of you are missing. You'll have to refer to this product page for instructions as the bag instructions are in Korean (unless you read Korean). But you generally mix 10g of the powder with 20 mL of hot water to create the base matcha before adding other liquids/ice cubes. It helps to have a matcha whisk to disperse the powder. Otherwise do your best to scrape and break up clumps at this stage as it is much harder to do later. Is it a good value? 35% matcha so 65% superzero sweetener. Erythritol is about $0.20/oz and less in bulk. Refined powdered steviol glucosides under $1.50/oz. So the matcha could be effectively around $4-6/oz out of the $7.29/oz it is. If you were to make this yourself you could customize the sweetness and cost it out with this in mind.Fortunately they make 10g sticks, while more expensive per ounce, isn't the 500g commitment this is. So you can try their formulation. If you like it, then the bulk option is relatively less expensive.

Seems OK
This seems OK. I've never tried Matcha before. My niece was telling me about it so I wanted to try it. She LOOOOOVES it and has tried many different brands. So this is the only brand I've ever tried and it was ok. It's a 'green drink' lol. I don't particularly care for the flavor or the effort involved in mixing up the powder to get a nice liquid.MOST IMPORTANTLY I didn't notice any health benefits. But I also didn't notice any health detriments like GI upset. So It didn't do anything good for me or bad for me. That's kind of a win.So maybe you want to try this if you are looking for Matcha. Maybe I just don't know what to expect. This review was written for: SUPER MATCHA Korean Premium Sweet Matcha Powder - Large 18oz (500g) Size for Daily Health and Wellness Boost, Ceremonial Grade, Calorie-free Natural Sweetener

More filler than not and odd tasting with sugar alcohols
I've recently been lucky enough to try a run of Korean Matcha teas. I usually stick to Japanese Matchas and have been enjoying them for decades but the several Korean Matchas I've tried have been hit or miss. This is a miss. This is a big bag of what is claimed to be Korean Ceremonial Matcha (KCM). Having just enjoyed a fantastic small batch of KCM, this doesn't even compare. The color is close but the smell and the taste is completely off. It might be the large amount of Erythritol (sugar alcohol), the actual batch or both but I tried this several different ways:#1. Straight up#2. With milk#3. With Honey#4. With Almond Milk#5. In a Protein ShakeEvery single way I did not like it and straight up I ended up tossing it out. I would be loathe to label this a Ceremonial grade. It tastes very much like other Culinary grade matcha's I've tried before.A serving size is ~10g for 16 calories. A full Matcha would be ~25 cal (5cal per 2g serving). Only 35% of each serving is Matcha and the rest is the "Superzero Sweetener" which is Erythritol and Steviol Glycoside (stevia). This would have been better if it was just pure Matcha.Due to the large bag size, it comes down to ~$7.29/oz which is right in line with low to mid tier Matchas so pricing wise it isn't bad but even at that lower price due to the taste and sugar alcohols I can not recommend this Matcha in any way, shape or form.

Overpriced Average Matcha
I tried this Sweet Matcha Powder hoping for a high-quality matcha experience, but it was underwhelming. The taste is average at best, similar to much cheaper options I've tried before. For over $130, I expected something exceptional, but it didn't deliver. It's not terrible, but certainly not worth the steep price.
