I was worried when i read other reviews that said the package came damaged, but mine came just fine secured in two boxes. The product is great, the inks are wonderful and i have yet to try all of the nibs, but the ones i have tried have written smoothly and felt great, only thing is be careful not to over-dip the nibs because they hold ink really well.I expected the pen to be brown in colour and made of wood, and while it is in fact made of wood its black so not entirely accurate pictures there. If you don’t care about that though it is a lovely product! (I think the black is good because i have a habit of accidentally smearing ink on my pens)

Pen handle is extremely comfortable and inks can be used for variety of pens such as a fountain pen. All products are very well built with good materials and feel premium.

Nice but probably more for the professional (as I am, yea I know I have a big head lol!) because you have to dip nib in ink. Normal run of the mill pens have ink cartridges which I actually prefer myself and therefore less hassle when writing a piece. But looks great the ink pots are large so plenty of ink. I haven’t actually used any yet nor the nibs but I know my dope about calligraphy and pens :) Shalom, big head.... Nice set with good quality inks. Nicely presented in gift box. The nibs are good quality. Some reviews said they're difficult to use. But if cleaned before use (quick soap, rinse & dry) to remove preservative oil from factory. Also bear in mind the ink holder wants to be within a couple of mm from the tip of the nib (experiment they slide easily after a bit). Found the inks nice and colourful with more than enough to get lots of practice in. Good variety of nibs (fountain, calligraphy and poster). Well worth the price and fun to use.

I have bought this as a Christmas present for my sister as she wants to learn about calligraphy.Decided to go for a more expensive set as it includes coloured ink in nice bottles, lots of interchangeable nibs to clip onto a nice wooden nib holder and a very nice gold pen holder to put the pen into when not required.A really nice set to own if calligraphy is your thing.

Beautifully packaged and ideal calligraphy set especially for beginners/improvers. Bought as a gift for our daughter who is delighted with it

Bought this for my Husband who wanted to take up calligraphy. this set was fantastic he loved it, the pen was comfortable in this hand and it was great quality. inks was easy to use.
