I got it an hour ago and immediately installed it. The install was simple with the help of my studfinder and drill. This is a 16" bar and comfortably holds 9 knives and my kitchen shears., with a little room to spare. The block used to sit in the same area and took up so much space. It now looks and feels, less cluttered and easier to prep in. Strong magnet, sturdy feel and looks like quality.

Really happy with this, it fits really well right over the stove in our small kitchen and looks nice. It wasn't very difficult to install either. Hasn't lost magnetism in the slightest, everything holds in the exact position it's placed.

I have very limited counter space and decided to try this product on inside of pantry door to free up counter space space taken by chunky knife block. High quality product, super strong magnet, easy to install and achieved the desired result. Holds more knives than the block did, which frees up space in drawer. Would definitely recommend!

I have had a knife block on my counter forever. It was big, bulky and I only used about 5 knives in the whole collection. This magnetic holder is a gift from heaven. It helped clear my counter of valuable space and my knives are so handy to reach.Well made, easy to install. Great product

Looks sleek and simple, is a powerful magnet and works like a charm for small -large knives and can openers. I would buy again if I need to more wall storage.

This looks great in my small kitchen and serves a couple of purposes:1. I have limited counter space so getting rid of the knife block helps open a little more space up.2. It keeps the knives farther out of reach of the kid.Both huge pluses!Install was easy, I mounted two separate bars in a corner (see pic) and used the supplied hardware to mount to my drywall. The drywall anchors included are not the best, but your typical little cylinders. I usually use my own anchors but for this, they seemed to work out pretty good. They aren't holding a ton of weight, so I wasn't overly concerned and they are not pulling out from the wall. The actual steel bar magnetically attaches to the mounting bar/bracket - this is a very strong adhesion! Watch your fingers! You'll know what I mean if/when you go to install it. This bar has plenty of magnetic strength, so you don't have to worry about knives slipping down or anything like that. It takes a little force to remove your knives - but I'd argue this is just the right amount. Not too strong, definitely not weak. I had originally thought about mounting directly on the underside of my corner cabinet (so the knives would basically be hidden and parallel to the countertop), and while I decided against that, there is plenty of strength if you choose to do so.The only con I have is that some of my knives like to turn/angle a bit on the magnetic knife bar, as opposed to staying straight up and down. I am still messing with the order of the knives a bit, and it seems that some spots do this worse than others, I assume because there are a series of magnets (maybe they are round?) within the knife bar itself. It is worse with smaller knives, compared to larger knives with more steel/wider blades. Of course, when writing this most of my smaller knives are dirty from prepping dinner, so the typical culprits are not in the pic I attached.Overall I'm happy with it so far, and the wife likes it too (minus some of the knives angling a bit). She hated our knife block, so this was my remedy for that, the price was right, and I have to say, it looks pretty sharp.

It's a clean design. Installation was super easy and the magnet is quite strong. It does make the initial separation of the unit a bit difficult but that was just because I was nervous to pull too hard.I definitely recommend the larger size (16) if you have a kitchen with a bunch of different kinds of knives. But you may also be better off getting two small size to keep things organized.

It holds nearly a dozen kitchen knives easily. Keeps them safely out of the way yet handy for use. Excellent product.

Ive been interested in purchasing one of these knife magnets ever since I saw my mother use one in her kitchen when I was a child.Unfortunately I didn’t consider how much space was needed and especially the type on surface on which this can be installed.If the majority of your kitchen is tiles I recommend finding somewhere else to put, it could be tricky.

Super easy to install, looks nice. The magnetic strength is good enough for several knives/utensils- but it isn’t too difficult to remove them, or put them back up.
