Much better than expected.
Fantastic product.I had originally tried to use some worthless stuff that I purchased from Home Depot that lasted about a month before peeling off and leaving an adhesive mess in its wake. I was very hesitant to try another one of these products because I figured the same would happen.I've had this stuff on for 3 months now and it has show no signs of lift, slide or peel. Moreover, I'm using this on a textured (wavy crisscross pattern) fiberglass tub... I had figured that it was this pattern/material that was the problem with the original stuff I bought, but this tape has proven that theory wrong.I'm very impressed with product. As others have mentioned, however, the staple in the packaging is off putting. I simply trimmed around those holes left by the staples, which means the strips that I used were ~5" long. While not ideal, it works very well and looks great.UPDATE:The first of these treads started picking up after about 6 months in the highest traffic spot on the tub... more started peeling off another year later and just this past weekend, I pulled up all of the pieces that I put down over 2 1/2 years ago and replaced them. The adhesion in the lighter traffic portions of the tub was still terrific, but it pulled up without leaving any mess. I had used what was leftover from my original purchase and I still have about 2 feet of material left. This is a shower that usually gets used 4x per day... and is very slick without any tread or mat... so I'd say this purchase was very well worth it.

Works & Lasts!
If people say it didn't work, they must not have installed it correctly. The install was very easy; I didn't use any extra adhesive but I did trim the corners to be rounded. I cleaned & dried the tub real well. I used a scraper (like a credit card) to press strips down. I don't remember if it said to let it cure for so many hours or days, but if it did, than I followed instructions. Those strips NEVER MOVED or CAME UP! I moved from that house about 7 years from when I installed them & they still were in perfect condition. I highly recommend!

3m safety treads
We have a fiberglass shower and tub. Theses straips work great in both. We are getting older and being in a slippery shower can really be unsafe. Now we have the straps on the floor and we feel alot safer. Easy to use, measure, cut, and stick on the floor of a clean shower or tub.

3M Safety-Walk Tape
The 3M Safety-Walk slip resistant tape is great. It’s very easy to apply to the bottom of any shoe and I’ll also try the tape to the inside of sling back shoes to give me more stability. There is no strange “sensation” that something is on the bottom of my shoe and now slipping is not happening at all!! 😘🤗

10+ years and going strong!
Wow, it's held up great, a solid 3M commercial grade product. And this tub gets used a lot! A nice level of grip, but not too much for bare feet. 1" wide, clear strips in a chocolate colored tub, and it doesn't look obnoxious. Get your surface super clean. I don't see why it wouldn't last another 10 years.

Didn't stick well
Well, I guess I'm the first one who didn't have very goo luck with these. I bought one package and it was enough to cut strips for two standard size tubs (with a little leftover). I followed the instructions to the letter and after about 3wks one strip started peeling off. A week after that another one is now gone. I have a tub that is very very slightly textured but it had other "sea shell" anti-slip stickers on it when I bought the house and they were a pain to remove so I KNOW that isn't the problem. I don't know why they didn't hold but I'm not impressed and will be on the hunt for a different brand once the remaining strips peel off.

No more slippery tub
I’ve used a bath mat for years – the kind with all the suction cups on the bottom – and it’s worked great. But it must be put down and taken up for each shower, otherwise it tends to develop mold and gather gunk on the bottom. A friend gave me a roll of these 3M adhesive strips a few months ago because she said that it worked so well for her. I was a little skeptical about it staying put over time, but I figured that I’d give it a try. I was actually pleasantly surprised. It was super simple to use – I just cleaned and dried my tub (semi-smooth acrylic), cut the strips to size, peeled off the backing, and stuck them to my tub. They stick pretty firmly when they make contact so you’ll want to have all of your strips laid out how you want them before you start sticking. We’ve used the shower and/or tub on a daily basis for the past several months and the strips are still holding firm. I laid the strips about six inches apart the short way across the tub. The rough surface keeps my feet from slipping, but it’s not so rough as to be uncomfortable. They worked so well that I just bought another roll so I can lay them in our guest shower. This is an effective but inexpensive fix to a slippery tub and I'm really glad I found them.

So Far So Good
I put this product in our tub about 6 weeks ago. At first, I was skeptical it would work as the surface is not a rough as I had expected. After installation, it works great. No more slippery tub.A couple of things I did in installation may help some one else. First I Laid out a pattern with masking tape. When satisfied with pattern, I made a drawing and took measurements as a guide. Then I cut the strips to length and removed the masking tape. The strips have square corners, so I rounded the corners (used a 3/4" pvc pipe coupler to get the radius). I did not want any corners that may be easy to catch and peel off. It was somewhat labor intensive but worth it. Cleaned the tub with liquid dish soap (didn't want to use anything that might leave a powdery residue). After the tub dried, I used Isopropyl alcohol to wipe down the tub. It only takes a few minutes to dry. Then applied the strips as instructed. To make sure there was good contact between the tub and the strips, I rolled the strips with a wallpaper seam roller. The tub is used daily for showers and a couple of times a week for baths. So far the product has performed flawlessly.
