One of the Best Filter Coffe
I am based in London and I am a big coffee lover and love tyring all types from Nespresso, Lavazza etc and during my recent visit to India I bought this filter coffee after readign few reviews. Really felt special seeing the welcome letter when I opened the box. The coffee smells so good and fills the whole room with Aroma and I love the taste it gives and also taking every sip in this cold weather of London it connects me with my Motherland India.Thank You Seven Beans for connecting me with my roots. I promise this will not be my last order for sure.

Great blend of a smooth coffee
Name is enough. This coffee is far far better than any branded coffee advertising by Fancy tag name and packaging. This is strong for both way milk as well as black. Little hint of chikory ads taste and flavors into it. Do not hesitate just buy

Amazing flavoured coffee, Love it!
First of all, thank you for delivering my package earlier than expected, kudos to both Amazon and Seven Beans to make this happen.Secondly, it was great to read this thank you note from Seven Beans, which also explained your procedure and history in the coffee industry as a gesture of transparency, mostly cause I respect such gestures. Now, for the actual review, I should say this, the moment I opened the packet, the aroma of coffee just filled within the kitchen, which shows how well the beans were roasted.I used it for my French Press decoction (as this grind is between medium to fine) and my first impression is that the bitterness note is as expected as it should from a dark roast coffee and the flavour is proportional to that. STRONG is the keyword here!Made a few cappuccinos with it and the blend was so good that it still has a lingering aftertaste of smooth yet smoky flavour of the coffee.10/10 would recommend this to others.

Amazing restaurant style strong coffee
I just came across this coffee powder and wanted to try it. The name itself made me fall for it. Agumbe (in shivamogga district) is the southern cherrapunji. Highest rainfall. I suggest take the route Agumbe to Manipal. Only small vehicles allowed (cars and mini bus). Totally scenic and has a beautiful sunset point.OK coming back to the coffee 🙂It's dark roast with 70% coffee and 30% chicory. The aroma is very pleasing. The packet itself has an air seal which preserves the aroma. I suggest an airtight jar. I kept the package itself in the jar. Didn't transfer contents. I believe that way it retains the freshness.Go by the instructions mentioned or if you already are an expert in coffee preparation, then need no more of it. Add small amount of jaggery in the filter jar at the bottom, then add the coffee powder, place the filter and then pour the hot water onto it.You can keep on making the decoction or you can do it once, then transfer the excess decoction to an airtight glass jar (please note glass is best. Don't use plastic or steel)and keep in the refrigerator for further use.The flavor is mesmerizing. Better than the normal ones I used to buy from the store. It's strong and rich I must say. I usually do a 1/4 decoction and 3/4 milk with a pinch of sugar. More sugar actually spoils the coffee flavor. So I say this Agumbe coffee powder is a must try especially if you like strong restaurant style coffee.

Less than satisfactory taste
I liked how the manufacturers have paid attention to the packaging and marketing of their product. But ultimately, the coffee has to please the tongue and that's a subjective matter. For me, the filter coffee came out a tad too bitter and thinner than I would've liked. This is probably due to the coffee particle size and chicory content. The second can be adjusted but not the first. But I suspect it's also due to the nature of the coffee beans themselves. Something's off.

Lifelong alliance.
Agumbe - a scenic hill station on the western ghats surrounded by acres of coffee plantations. The coffee itself is rich, intense and flavourful! Does not get any more genuine! A morning cup of black coffee brewed in a moka pot is a non negotiable kickstarter in my daily routine. One small nitpick.. the coffee is listed as 2 packs of 250gms and priced as such.. while it actually is 2 packs of 500gms.. making it a very competitive value. I'm sure a proper listing will boost the sales and make this gem more popular.
