It's been incredibly hard to find a blanket that is good for warmer weather or homes that don't have AC or central air. All the "cooling" blankets advertised online are expensive, thicker and hotter than advertised. I've tried several different brands that all failed to meet my needs.But this blanket is actually perfect. It's cooling because it's thin, made of cotton instead of synthetics, and has relatively large holes woven into the pattern for nice airflow. And its pretty comfortable and soft, especially after several washes. This is the blanket to buy if you want a nice cool "summer blanket" that offers the experience of a blanket without excessive heat.

This blanket provides warmth and air circulation. If you use just this blanket it is good for those who need a cover but prefer sleeping in cooler environments. If you use this blanket under an additional blanket it becomes insulating and provides warmth.As other reviewers have pointed out there is a solidly woven section in the middle. I do not use this as the top layer and am not bothered by it, this design element will help the blanket retain its shape.After washing and drying the blanket fits my queen bed with no noticeable shrinkage.I would not hesitate to purchase a second blanket or to recommend.

This blanket is *almost* as pictured. I got the Taupe and the Ice Gray (which is more blue than gray, but looks the same as the images on my computer, fwiw.) Both are beautiful colors.It came through the wash beautifully with minimal shrinkage and no fading. The only thing that is odd is that down the middle there is a part that is not an open weave, but just a solid weave. This fact is not shown in the images nor the description, and does affect how much I like the blanket. Didn't want a stripe. In looking at the blanket, the stripe is probably there to give the blanket structure, as it is very soft and might go out of shape otherwise.A lovely, super soft, lightweight blanket. Recommend.

I am very happy with the blanket. It’s lightweight but keeps me warm in the winter. It’s especially nice for a hot sleeper. Love the feel and it looks nice.

I hate sleeping without a blanket in the summer, and this blanket is perfect for summer days when you just need a little comfort without the excessive warmth. Because its so big, I can fold it over for a more snug feel in colder months, or layer more blankets with it. I like the weight it has despite being very breathable, and in my experience its quite resistant to threat snags for a loose knit piece. I've been able to just pat it down back into place when it happens. It may seem pricey at first but it truly is a huge blanket that I'm able to use year round. I will say its a little stiff out of the package, but just make sure to wash it before use.

We love having this as a camping bedspread for our camper in the summer due to the small vent holes and cotton makeup. Lightweight and comfortable. Good quality and the size was true to our Queen bed. We also have one on our home bed in the summer.

We always have a cotton blanket on our bed. It is just enough in summer and helps with warmth in winter. Our old one got a hole so I bought this one. It is a good thickness. It is soft. My negative about it is that it stretches a lot. I mean a lot. I think it will stretch to the point of being unusable at some point.
