Great on a budget, still great with no budget.
I feel as this shifter is a great alternative to the Logitech shifter... if you have a pc that is. It's connector is different than that of Logitechs so its not compatible with consoles. The quality of the shifter is immaculate given its price point, I loaded into Asseto Corsa on the Shutoko Revival Project Server and was absolutely slamming gears. I haven't had a need to use all 7 gears, but hey maybe that's cause I only pick the cool cars.I am planning on getting a shifter knob for truck simulators, but from what I have seen, it's a simple adapter to fit. Overall a great shifter if you are on a budget and can't spend 200+ on a pro level shifter.Or 400 on a moza ab9 (the dream for sim racing.. force feedback shifter).

Just as good as higher end TH8a model
Save yourself some money and grab this instead. My TH8a was having issues with its cable fraying, so I decided to make things easier on my sanity and try this guy out.It is literally the IDENTICAL components/mechanics as the higher end model, the only thing different is the lack of interchangability between h-pattern and sequential (which is ultimately more of a gimmick than anything else), and the shiftknob isnt easily customizable (can be taken care of with a quick mod)Trust me. Safe yourself the hassle and get this guy instead. The way the USB-C works with this, I wouldnt be surprised if it lasts even longer than the TH8-AI have no complaints at all.

Excellent cheap shifter
Excellent for driving/trucking sims. Magnets make it feel great.

Quality and Consistency
As a starting Shifter and The Price point for this shifter is amazing . If you’re trying to save some money and you need a shifter . I would 100% recommend this shifter . With little to no Mis-Shifting , the feeling of the knob is enjoyable even though it is plastic . Can be upgraded if needed. Trust me , I’ve put this to the very test and I must say . It’s worth it

Built like a tank, slightly confusing implementation
A bit of an odd peripheral. When my unit arrived, the toggle to switch between a handbrake and a shifter was a bit messed up. ThrustMaster CS helped me figure out the issue and it has been very responsive in both settings. The throw distance to shift is reasonable and lets you snap through gears, albeit rather numbly. The handbrake mode feels nicer and smooth. I used to use a no-name Arduino handbrake that had much more travel and always felt a bit sloppy. The TSS handbrake gives a more reasonable throw and feels more responsive, not to mention it’s built like a tank with virtually zero lateral play. I’ve been loving this unit in handbrake mode for drifting.I’ve actually left the TSS in Handbrake mode while pairing it with a Simagic Q1 sequential shifter. A bit of an odd setup, but it works. You might wonder what the point of this unit is then, I wonder the same thing. If you have a shifter, this is a nice handbrake but a bit much for just a handbrake. If you need a sequential shifter and have a handbrake, this makes a bit more sense, but again it’s a bit much for the little tactile feel you get. The TSS seems like a jack of all trades, it does both functions well, but it’s not a master of either.I wouldn’t say avoid this, but you should think about whether this would fit with your sim racing setup and whether you really need a 2-in-1 unit like this.
