Pro & Cons But overall amazing keyboard!
I have the brown switches K4 96% v2 and it was been a pleasure to type on for work while using my macbook.Pros:backlight/rgbThe bluetooth is responsivethe keys are easy to adjust toMac & Windows compatibleTactile switches make the typing experience enjoyable againSturdy great materialhot swappable keys with toolsExtra keycaps for windows and macCons:the RGB is a bit lighter than some higher end keyboards, but I believe that has mostly to do with the key caps (which btw you can swap them out for pudding keycaps if needed).Needs wrist restKeyboard has a delay when it goes to rest mode ( you can turn this mode off)The cons don't bother me as much because RGB is not my preference I just stick with the backlight instead if needed and the wrist rest is an easy fix!Pro for the Con- However, while playing with the RGB settings, i have to say that I love all the lighting choices without any unnecessary software to install A BIG PLUS and easy to use.I plan on using this keyboard for my gaming desktop when I finish building it ( a win win). When I bough this keyboard there were no reviews and now shortly after the holidays and release there are nothing but positive reviews on the gaming capacity/ responsiveness. I'm very happy with this keyboard....it is very easy to say that this is one my best purchases in awhile.

Good keyboard, no software
This keyboard is fantastic value for money. I wanted this form factor and tried to cheap out and ordered a couple different boards before coming back to the Keychron that I should have just ordered in the first place. The aluminum on this is a just a cladding, no then entire case, so if that's important to you you might want to reconsider but I really like the way they implemented it. Another thing is there is no software like there is for some of their other models. This is not a deal breaker for me, I didn't need to reassign any keys and you can access all the backlight colors and functions right from the board. I know some of you would like software to make some macros and if thats what you're looking for this specific model isn't it. Otherwise I think this thing is fantastic value. The build quality is top notch, the selector to swap between Windows and Mac layouts is really convenient and the Bluetooth works well.

This is my entry into a new hobby
I bought this cause I have a terrible keyboard that was only $35. It did the job but not to the degree a new enthusiast would be satisfied with.Enter the new mechanical keyboard hobbyist. I bought this as an introductory to a new field of hobby. I've always been into building tech with my own hands, as well as doing mods to my tech. Cars, computers, sound systems and houses. I have a problem...Any how, I've spent a straight up 4 days just researching into this new hobby before I finally bought this keyboard, and knew what I was getting myself into. Did a couple "once overs". So not technically a once over. All in all, a good product. This keyboard has a satisfying compression and ascension. The keycaps are nice to touch but are made of abs plastic so I opted to order some pbt. Some will not be very particular about the key material but it has a nice texture to them. I can't speak to the Gateron blues or reds, but the browns have a thocky sound. If you want to know what thock means when it comes to keyboard sound. Look up hypyo on YouTube. The stablelizers are pretty nice from the factory. Not too pingy, 1 out of 100 compressions you'll here the metalic ping, but other than that, retains deep clack sound. The Rgb is a nice touch, and the built in rgb features are nice. Even has some reactive profiles, which I prefer. Nice and bright for me. Not over bearing. The functions are pretty cool, and no software support needed. Which is a pro and con in itself. In conclusion, it's a good non-enthusiast board, and it's a good intro to those that want to get into mechanical keyboards. It's reliable with some "key" features that drive you to want to type more. I would say this is a good board for those that both work and game on the same board. Keychron has some hits and misses, but this board is a solid homerun.

Came as expected with prime delivery. Fast.
My first mechanical keyboard and I went with the brown switches. This was an upgrade from a logitech K750 I had shown in pictures. I did have to make a wrist rest and it actually came out nice instead of buying one. It was a bit uncomfortable without it as many people mention in online reviews since its a taller board. At first, I thought the addition of a wrist rest was not going to look good and would take up more space but I just got it anyway and it turned out nice... The K4 offers 96% of a full size keyboard in a shorter more compact frame which I liked. The longer logitech full size I was finding a bit too long and spaced out especially when I occasionally wanted to jump on a game. I tried gaming on this K4 and its much better plus writing feels more productive and I actually want to improve WPM now. Its more fun to type on with the tactile feel and response I get from it, as well as the acoustics/sound are good. All the RGB lighting effects work and are nice to have. Adds a splash of fun to it all lol. The only thing is that when I step away from it and want to turn it back on there is a few seconds lag on it. Compared to my logitech, which was always on since it had solar powered batteries, I would just need to hit the space bar and it would wake up my computer. You can change the setting on the K4 to always stay on which I imagine would fix the issue, but I have mine set to sleep when not in use to save battery and don't really mind the small lag too much. Was skeptical since ther were no reviews on here but I gave it a try and everything has checked out nicely...
