I've been buying this product on subscription for 6 months now
The subscription discount helps with the cost so that's a good start. The powder itself seems good quality, is organic (important to me) and care has gone into the packaging. I initially took some in an expresso, with a little honey to mask the taste. The taste isn't terrible but not really enjoyable with water - just as you'd imagine ground mushrooms to be really. The powder didn't clump together though and just needed a little stir into the honey, then add the expresso on top.I've found my favourite way though, is with my Huel in the morning - just stick it in with the rest of the powder and you don't notice it at all. In terms of effect - yes, I have noticed it calms me and had made me more focused. You definitely have more productive work days. I think I came to that conclusion after using it for a couple of weeks, every morning.

Good quality
This product is great mixed into protein shakes and smoothies. It does have an earthy taste but with other ingredients in the blender you wouldn’t know it’s there.Helps with my mood and mental clarity. Good value for money.

Great product
I'm on my second tub, please make a larger one!, my son and I both have adhd and this has helped us both focus a little more i noticed the effects after a couple of days and it took around a week and a half for my teenager , we have been adding it to a hot drink each morning. It tastes a little earthy but we are getting used to it, it's worth it

Curiously different from the Dirtea equivalent
I've decided to switch to this product after trying Lion's Mane for the first time from the Dirtea brand and really enjoying it, but finding it quite pricey. This seemed like a 1-4-1 equivalent at a better price so I was very excited to try it. I was extremely surprised by the difference in the 2 products, both claiming to be 100% of the same product. Not sure if this is caused by the drying/crushing methodology or something else in the production process, but unfortunately - for me personally, this one fell short of the Dirtea equivalent on all marks but price. The first thing I noticed is that unlike the Dirtea Lion's Mane, which disintegrates entirely into a clear liquid, resembling herbal tea in colour and look, the Erbology version creates a muddy, cloudy liquid and also doesn't dilute entirely, neither in cold nor hot water, leaving an unpleasant sediment at the bottom that needs to be constantly stirred in order to be able to be consumed. The second important factor for me was taste. The Dirtea product creates a really pleasant drink, think of a slightly less flavourful miso soup. It's quite delicious and I found it super drinkable on its own, making it easy to integrate into my day as a stand-alone drink. The Erbology Lion's Mane has a bitter tang, which combined with the consistency described above, makes for a rather unpleasant drink. In order to get through the jar, I am combining it with coffee - although because I don't want to ruin the taste of my morning coffee, which this Lion's Mane does unfortunately, I end up drinking an extra cup of coffee every day in order to consume the mushroom.Unfortunately, I cannot comment on the difference in the effectiveness of these products, for which a more extended use of both would be required.Of course, £15 difference for a tiny jar of superfood is huge, and I was really hoping I have found a lower-cost alternative to a product I like. However, I found that the taste and texture have prevented me from being as regular in consuming it as I was with the Dirtea equivalent, and I might have to bite the bullet and return to the more expensive version. This being said, it is really curious how allegedly the exact same product, meant to be consumed in the exact same fashion, can be this different.

It's a good product, but doesn't dissolve/mix with coffee!
The product is good and delivery etc. was flawless, but I was looking for something that can dissolve/mix with black coffee. This doesn't do that so can only really be mixed with protein powders, soups, etc. which would do the trick.

Instantly feel calmer
Heard about lions mane on clarksons farm and thought it’s worth a try. Instantly felt calmer, more in control. I have it in my morning coffee - it tastes a bit musty, but it’s not unpleasant. It’s expensive for the size but I’d say it’s worth it for the effect.I feel better in my head, I handle stressful situations better - just in time for summer holidays!
